looking to get my car serviced at a local garage in Blackburn, would gratefully receive recommendations and prices of where to go as I've not got a clue. Looking for the 12 month service.

Our firm has had a petrol account with them for years ,they are sound blokes albert and his son mark .you might have to wait a week sometimes though as they do get busy for a small garage

I've had several cars MOT'd there and will agree with that. Good safe bet.

Heck, £35 for an Escort thats done 104,000, she must be worn out.

An MOT, is that to do with health and safety. I suppose these agencies have to cover themselves.

Don't worry about it Alan. I've done some digging and it appears you only need one if your car is over 3 years old.
