Presty On Tour Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 theres not a chance we are going to lose, notlob are quite franky rubbish! if we get a goal early, then they have to come out and then we can smash a few more past them. i fancy a riot!
RoyRover Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 We have to win this one to keep up with the rest of the European chasing teams. We beat them last time and will do it again today!
LeftWinger Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I'm taking the missus - and when she watches Rovers - Pedersen scores. So you heard it here first.
Ozz Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 At last a match at home again, seems like ages (READERS VOICE-it was 22 days ago). After some nice sunny days in those 22, the weather has changed to match the mood and has got all dark, dull and damp. And dreary. A forecast of the likely quality of football to be offered I fear. Fortunately I feel fine about forgettable football, as I have fully forged myself for the fleeting moments of fear as the fine drizzle flushes away the fickleness of the fallow fodder on show. RANDOM BOLTON IMAGE Tenuous I know, but I like crud like that.
Flopsy Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I'm taking the missus - and when she watches Rovers - Pedersen scores. So you heard it here first. Do you then let her watch the football? Kaboom ching
LeftWinger Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Do you then let her watch the football? Kaboom ching Very good
Plastic Head Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I just hope Diouf suffers a similar fate to Eduardo. I hate the cheat.
Cocker Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I just hope Diouf suffers a similar fate to Eduardo. I hate the cheat. Nasty. While I dont like Diouf I wouldnt want to wish what happened to Eduardo on anyone
Gav Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I just hope Diouf suffers a similar fate to Eduardo. I hate the cheat. Here here
philipl Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Brad Emerton, Zura, Samba, Warnock Bentley, Reid ©, Dunn, MGP Santa Cruz, McCarthy subs: Brown, Tugay, Axe, Derbs, Roberts At the beginning of the season, we'd have said that was a formidable line-up.
Presty On Tour Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 is this the first time reid has started with the captains armband?
Lathund Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I think so. Though I'd expected Friedel to have it, he's had it before when Nelsen/Savage/Ooijer haven't played hasn't he? Though perhaps MH wants an outfield player as captain.
Eddie Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I just hope Diouf suffers a similar fate to Eduardo. I hate the cheat. That's disgusting. The man is cheating in a game of football, he doesn't deserve to have his leg broken for it. Get a grip. You should never wish an injury upon anyone.
rovers1993 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 solid starting eleven... reid getting surprised armband though. lets hope he performs well as captian! im confident we will win this!
rovers1993 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 mccarthy going close in first 20 seconds! good start!
krislu Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Could easily have been 1-0 to Bolton. We started well, but they are taking over the game now..
rovers1993 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 mccarthy!!!! 1 - 0!! come on!!! lets crush em!
Lathund Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Never a penalty, but I'm not one to complain Well taken pen, waited to see which way Jussi went and calmly slotted it home.
krislu Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Haha, that was never even close to being a penalty. Another "proof" that luck even itself out during a season...
Rover Down Under Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Not a pen but were still owed 2 more non-penalties before things "even themselves out". Looks like the break has done a bit of good for Pedders and Mac, Emo & Dunn are playing well too, Reid & Samba are the weak links at the moment. If we get a second it should finish off Notlob.
Presty On Tour Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 1-0 at the break, i'm going for 4-0 rovers end score. pedersen is going to bag one
