rovers1993 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 nearly 1-1 again... offside and rightly so.

Lathund Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 This time it was very much a correct decision. 2-1, Benni. Very confidently smacked into the roof of the net.
rovers1993 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 2-1 YESSSSS mccarthy again!!! now we need to keep the lead and extend it!
cn_barlow Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Another cock up by a ref....Nolan booked twice and not sent off!!FFS!
Lathund Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Another cock up by a ref....Nolan booked twice and not sent off!!FFS! I believe you're thinking about the incident where Nolan "hip-tackled" a Rovers player (Dunn?) going past him? If so, he wasn't the one booked; it was Campo for dissent.
ElTwis Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I'm taking the missus - and when she watches Rovers - Pedersen scores. So you heard it here first. Scary!
Rover Down Under Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 A game of many firsts: - First win over Bolton at home for a while - First time we've put 2 pens past Jaaskelinen successfully! - First time to score 4 at home this season - First headed goal for Bents - And finally, best of all, first goal for Peds for a year! It was a joy to see him smile again - I hope this signals the end of his dip - forever! MoM - tough one between Dunn, Mac and Friedel. Have to go for Dunn - won us the 2nd pen, created the third, showed some real class runs and got battered all over the pitch but got up and carried on.

novella Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 didnt mcCarthy score two pens at reebok last year though? i may be missing something... you are right he did. bolton like giving us pens dont they
philipl Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Really enjoyed that. Couple of scary moments from Samba and Zura's unintended tap to Pieboy for their equaliser apart, Rovers played some lovely stuff this afternoon. Benni was excellent, MGP still coming back and took his goal with all the aplomb of old. Roque's least effective game in a Rovers shirt but the whole team played well across the park and from back to front. We're still in touch even though one of the UEFA slots has been gifted by Cech to Spurts.
'arrod rover Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 you are right he did. bolton like giving us pens dont they and long may it continue
philipl Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Incidentally, Bolton's £5m capture of Cahill was a great move for Rovers.
Plastic Head Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Nasty. While I dont like Diouf I wouldnt want to wish what happened to Eduardo on anyone I would.
Plastic Head Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 That's disgusting. The man is cheating in a game of football, he doesn't deserve to have his leg broken for it. Get a grip. You should never wish an injury upon anyone. Diouf is disgusting.
Wild Irish Rover Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 MOTM? Thought Dunny had a very decent game for a change. No way were we 3 goals better than this bunch o journeymen though! 2 goals against the run of play say it all.. Having said that, it's 3 points in the bag Yay!
McClarky Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Thats 6 pens in 4 games against them, amazing. I thought we played well in 1st half and then Bolton totally took over for the first 20 after half time. We were lucky to still be in the game but then came back well later on. Brad was MOTM for me as he kept us in it when we were really struggling. I thought Bolton played really well for the spell when they were on top but apart from that we were the better side. Good to see MGP and Benni having much better games and I reckon MGP will be firing now for the run in after his goal. The midfield were ecellent until half time then faded badly but Dunn kept going well.
Presty On Tour Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 1-0 at the break, i'm going for 4-0 rovers end score. pedersen is going to bag one nobody likes a smarty pants but i didn't think bolton would score. good result and it keeps us in the chasing pack. so happy for peds, get in there!
Mr. E Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 At times we played some good football, though Bolton were ripping us to pieces in the 2nd half. Very fortunate win, especially by such a margin.
