Fat Frank sent off for violent conduct, West Ham still 3-0 down.

Bloody great. Frank trying to screw things up as always.

2 big shouts for handball in the box there. Rovers commentator said would have been but it did hit his hand.

We are definitely getting on top of this game now.

Duff commits yet another foul. I think that's 3 now. Yet he hasn't been warned like Zurab was.

Half Time at St James' Park

Rovers have had 3 good chances which have all fallen to Andre Ooijer.

MGP sounds like he has picked up from where he left off last week with a few good balls in and almost getting on the end of a cross.

McCarthy doesn't sound like he is in the game much but he is dropping off to try and get more of the ball. Maybe a Cameo form Jason Roberts towards the end to hold up the ball.

Newcastle were far and away the better team for the first 20mins but following that a pretty even affair with the better opportunities falling their way. Rovers more and more in the game as the minutes tick past, hopefully this trend continues on into the second half.

He may as well be.

Bentley has looked good when he has been out on corners and free kicks putting in crosses. Shame we haven't got him out on the wing.

Newcastle have once again started well. Another storm to weather.

Edit: Brad once again saves us with a "world class save". We have to keep the ball!

Derbs and Roberts are coming on.

For me, Benni and Emerton(unless moving him to rb) off.

Edit: Yep those subs have taken place.

Owen misses a one on one with brad, but the tipped it around the post. 2 top saves.

I would have preferred to have seen tugay on for emerton and bentley moved out to the right. It now takes that option out of the game unless you bring derbs off again.

Rovers have got to be thinking that this is their day to win. Just take a chance for gods sake!

There is nothing in this game at all. Passes going all over the place, no real bite to the rovers moves.

This is all very frustrating. Just have a go rovers, 3 points is vital.

Edit: Is Bentley still on the pitch??? The subs have just taken him completely out of the game.

Edit2: Duff off!!! thank god for that. N'Zogbia on though.
