Who remembers or watched the cult series?

It may be a bit dated now but was the precurser for lots sureal sci-fi plots

Eeeh that takes me back Yoda. Bloody great series till McGoohan fell out with the director, wrote the last 4 episodes himself and left us all completely befuddled. Lots of weird stuff including surrealism, mind control, who is Number 1 and the sinister and shadowy community enforcer with the BRFC connection...... 'Rover'.

Great stuff for anybody with imagination ..... but thats not something that was shared by all. 40 years on it's just the same with 'muggles' and Harry Potter stories.

It amazed me that it was always sunny in Portmerion where the series was filmed yet everyone knows it rains in Wales for 365 days of the year.

I loved the Prisoner and other series such as the Avengers. Britain still had the confidence to produce classy stuff like that back in the 1960s.
