If Reading and Newcastle could do us some favours and we pick up the 3 points then the league table could look very nice in a couple of hours time.

Well with Pompey looking like their about to knock United out the cup, Rovers need to finish 5th to get Uefa Cup

Not gunna happen!

Well 6th for intertoto. Basically we're going to have to beat City, Portsmouth and Villa in our mini-league now. Our defeats against Portsmouth and Villa are really going to matter come the end of the season.

I think if we are going to make 5th or 6th we are going to have to win most of our remaining games, and try to look to get a draw from the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool. And at the same time hope our winning momentum might put some pressure on the likes of Everton and Villa.

Its going to be very tough.

I wish we could just keep it simple. To many fancy layoffs and flicks in the centre of the park...and they just aren't coming off. Peds had a couple of chances ot cross the ball in the early going and they were poor, now it doesn't seem like we're going down the wings at all...oh wait, we just did..poor cross by Gamst.

Thank goodness Bullard hit the wall there, that would've been a bad first half...well, it was a bad first half.
