SAS Posted March 14, 2008 Author Posted March 14, 2008 I remember stuwilky had some tugay shirts made in blue with his face on it...... I think TUGAY DAY is a fantastic idea, lets get the ball rolling onwards to ebay for turkey flags and grey wigs

Ben-2000 Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 I still have my Tugay shirt... and would get a banner of some sort too. So are we going for the Tugay day then?!
philipl Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 I guess a lot depends on what Vogel and Fortune are looking like when fully fit. If both look good enough for the Prem, I doubt Toog's contract will be renewed.
roversmum Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Mr Roversmum and I would be interested in a Tugay t-shirt. Would suggest though it might be good to wear them on final home day as well.
James1984 Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Suggestions for design welcome but make it simple, e.g. phrases, names and numbers on reverse of shirt, turkish flag? red shirt or white? let me know!
baxendenblue Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 Tugay day is good idea but as mentioned on another thread, it might be better waiting to see if he gets another contract and if he does not then we should ude the Derby gaem as his official send off. He would love to see the Blackburn end decked out in Turkish flags and what a proper send off that would be. I think the Brum game needs a different idea. Thoughts?
LWX Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 sing old songs of ex-players such as the likes of Garner, Crompton etc. i'm not sure there are many rovers fans left alive who might be able to reliably inform us of how any crompton songs went!!!! Maybe a song commenting on his tash........something to the chuckle brothers tune might work.

USABlue Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 , wooden clacker things which you spin above your head, For our youger readers, I believe they were known as rattles.
AggyBlue Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 For our youger readers, I believe they were known as rattles. And you always made one in woodwork class at school
Hughesy Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Was in Asda the other night and noticed they do transfer paper so that you can get pictures on your comp and print them off, the simply iron onto t-shirts. Could be a decent way to make your own Tugay t-shirts?!
James1984 Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 I aint try to sell my shirts but that method is a bit crap! doesnt look very good and sometimes the iron isnt hot enough! We use proper vinyl and it will was thousands of times unlike the paper version!
stuwilky Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 The old Tugay design might be working its way out again, another limited edition run with all profits to Hypo-Luxo's Ticket fund for next season, after the donation to the board here for the use of their bandwidth. Give me until next week for info.
SAS Posted April 15, 2008 Author Posted April 15, 2008 Right guys, ive set up a facebook event for this to drum up some attention. If you have facebook and are interrested sign up to the event HERE

Agree - It'd be better to give him a send off at Ewood than at an away game - I'm still up for whichever ends up happening though....
Tom 1 Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 Am a Villa fan, watch out going mad at St Andrews, have some of the worst stewards you could ever meet, will chuck you out for anything no matter how young, old or anything, Complete @#/?s, to suit the scum of the club. Might be a bit bias of me cause I'm talking about what I saw in the derby match between us pair, but from what I hear it's a regular thing. Go for it with the Tugay thing but wouldn't be too quick to be running out your seats or anything. #### club, hope you do em...as long as we've sealed your Europe spot already
Hughesy Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Hopefully it will end for them on that game. Really hope we send them down, if there is a chance then i will be there.
modes98 Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Tickets are £35!! Does it never end? It's ridiculous. Portsmouth i can accept as it's a smaller stadium, but brum don't fill theirs. Although i have just read £18.00 Students under 22 years with a valid NUS card. This MUST be shown at turnstiles So just got to get an NUS now.
Mattyblue Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Ive looked at the Brum site. They've enginereed it so that every stand apart from the Railway end (where we will be sat) is considerably cheaper, the opposing Kop for example. They are an awfully supported club considering they are in the second largest conurbation in the UK, so obviously Gold and co think they might as well milk away fans to get in much needed $
modes98 Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Should be able to get one off ebay modes Indeed. Also i can buy one through the NUSextra website as i am a student still, just
