Rovers Sign International Midfielder.

Rovers yesterday signed out of contract Swiss International central midfielder Johann Vogel.

The central midfield player who was out of contract after his deal with Real Betis was cancelled in December, after impressed Mark Hughes during a two-week trial, has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with an option of a further year.

Vogel who has been capped 94 times for his country, was captain of Switzerland in the 2006 World Cup and played for AC Milan in 2005 as well as spending six-years with PSV Eindhoven.
