One of the most exciting players of recent times in Serbia and Montenegro, attacking midfielder Vukčević started learning his craft at FK Budućnost Podgorica before moving to the Serbian capital to join FK Partizan youth system at the tender age of 16."

not a bad shout by the looks of things

QUality player, not sure we should get into a bidding war for him though if others are interested.

Getting excited now. I think the next two weeks will see us sign two. Orr sounds likely to me. Not sure about who else.

And Bentley is interesting - with Liverpool blowing their wad on Barry and the other three CL clubs looking at more established or cheaper players it looks like he could be faced with a choice of Villa or Spurs.

We might see David at Ewood next season yet. He could use Ince as the perfect reason to stay "oh, I really like the new gaffer...". I guess it really depends how much he is up for a sideways hop into a club with Uefa football. To be honest Spurs will probably appeal to him.

Personally I am kind of hoping he goes and someone is willing to pay 15m+.

not neccessarily any players on this list of 72 that would be linked with B'burn, with the exception of Seyi Olofinjana that I've seen so far, but it's an interesting list of players none the less. Four four two magazine are following these players throughout the season and should make for an interesting read (I don't work for the mag I swear).

Orr is alright he solid defensively, but its a big step up. He's highly thought of at BC, but if avail at under 1M would be worth a punt.

I don't see MON spending that kind of money on Bentley, Spurs seem to be his only option, and if thats the case we won't get a bidding war, I would love to see him go for 15+, maybe if SWP does go to Pompey the chelsea might be interested, they will need home-grown players for europe, and it would be so satisfying to watch Bents pick splinters outta his ass all season!

Got a feeling the Steven Davis rumours could have something in them. Whilst he has had an 'erratic' career so far with regards to form, there is no doubt he is a very talented player.

He is in our price range, is young and has plenty of room to develop/improve.

I am sure Incey knows a good central midfielder when he sees one, so am interested to see who he goes for!

To me I think the most important thing this close season is keeping the team together.

My biggest worry this season is loosing our main striker - i.e. santa cruz and having to replace him.

That's right. More to loose than we have to gain. Quite worried. No surprise that stacks of our players are being linked elsewhere. They are very good. Great pity as we are nearly there ( i.e. challenging for a top 4 spot or European place ) A great midfield aquisition could do it. So near, so far away.

Janes McFadden for 5.5 million has been mentioned on Ceefax gossip today ..

Reported in football365 too. I hope not, he's definitely not worth spending a large chunk/all our transfer budget on. I rather get 3 promising young players for that amount.

That's 3 players who won't go into the first team squad is it? We can't afford the luxury of waiting for players to develop, especially not if we lose Bentley + a.n.other. We have to buy established players. Not saying i want McFadden but you can see why Ince might.

Quite right I've pointed that out many times BUT eddie as I have also said many times that we can only allow players to leave when we have a replacement of equal ability or better either lined up or ideally already signed on. You are suggesting putting the cart before the horse and that is simply NOT ON if the greater good of the club is taken into consideration. I have seen that policy disadvantage BRFC time and again in the past and ususually to our ultimate cost.

Whether ince can emulate Hughes I don't know but my instinct is that he will not have that ability.... it appears to be a very rare commodity.

When exactly did I say that we should sell him before we had a replacement lined up?

It doesn't sound very realistic to me. That values Lennon & Bent at approx. £18m..! No thanks.

Would rather have Lennon and £8-9m if we were to do a deal. Darren Bent doesn't have much more than our current attackers can offer and would be a waste of cash/value sat on the bench.

Cash only! or bentley and roberts for 20m if were in the realms of silly deals. Ramos don't want him as there is no end product so why on earth would we want him!

Cheeky sods pay god knows how much for bent but claim bentleys overpriced?

I work for a living and don't get paid silly money to manage a football club spending my days watching videos and reading scouting reports, but if i were in that position i'd feel stupid if the only answer i came to from an entire world that plays the game was......aaron bloody lennon! DO YOUR JOB GUVNOR!!!!

the lad at wigan valencia, we should have signed him ages ago! 10 times the player lennon is, i'd be delighted if the papers decided to link him with us-pace with an end product and a newly aquired attribute in goals. Shove lennon where sun don't...given his stature not a tall order!

Glad I'm not the only one who can't see the point of our bringing Lennon in. When I told my family that I didn't want him they all thought I was crackers but read what Spurs fans feel about him and plenty of them want rid of Lennon even if they don't get Bentley.

but Gumboots my friend, do not believe a word from a Spurs fan, they know faff all about football outside of WHL.

They still believe they play the beautiful game, they still believe in Chas and Dave, they still believe Hod is God and they still believe they are the team that ALL footballers want to play for.

Thats how bad Spurs fans are

I don't believe them on transfers but on Lennon I do. I can't see what he would bring to our team except the ability to run fast, and there are plenty who can do that. The ability to do something with a ball at the end of it is what matters and I can't see Lennon learning that now even though he is still young. And since I hate Spurs with a passion I'm not sure I want any of their rejects anyway, or at least none they'd be prepared to let us have.
