roverfanuk Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 WHAT"? i thought the club is tight on money. why pay hin anything? he should be paying us The decision might be taken out of his hands. I have reason to believe the board met last night (evening of the 4th) to discuss Ince's future...
The Prof. Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Hildebrand has been released by valencia today. not saying we should go for him but hes a quality keeper. Snatch his hand off - Robinson can't catch and commands no confidence in the defence. Stopping a few shots is not enough these days. Every high ball is scary and he just stays on his line. Technically he's a big liability. I think the midfield is the problem not the defence. It's ALWAYS too far from the back line (and incredible the front player too!) You let any premiership midfielder/attacker run unchecked at most defenders and you've only one outcome. I still think a new keeper and coach with midfield injuries relaxing will see the defence our saving grace this season.
RevidgeBlue Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11676_4582914,00.html zzzzz.......the usual "it's always my dream to play in the Premiership" from a foreign player etc. Why don't they be honest and just say "GIVE US THE MONEY!"
Bobby G Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 You have reason to believe cause its all over the Guardian today. Unless you were a fly on the wall?

dingles staying down 4ever Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 If the rumours are true does that mean we won't be signing the 30 odd year old French goalkeeper from MK Dons then? I for one will be disappointed then!!!
dingles staying down 4ever Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Could not remember his exact age but I thought 30 odd year old covered 35 year old
Eddie Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Not to be pedantic, but 30 odd makes it sounds as if he is at the most maybe 32.
67splitscreen Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Not to be pedantic, but 30 odd makes it sounds as if he is at the most maybe 32. So surely not being pedantic, that would be 31-33 or even 35.
American Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I liked that Alonso guy that played for Liverpool today. We should make a bid. I've heard that no one else has, so he'll come to us.
dr_awol Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 rite, what do we do? up untill a few weeks ago, i was thinking the problem was just no bentley/replacement. now in not so sure? im not so sure or defence is that bad, they cant just become bad after a change of a manager with what ever money do have to spend, what should we buy a denfender or bentley replacement?

novella Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Dunn will be like a new signing when he's back.
Amo Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Dunn will be like a new signing when he's back. Hopefully he won't be Ince's.
Hughesy Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Yeah until he gets injured again 2 weeks later!!
novella Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Yeah until he gets injured again 2 weeks later!! fair point
roverfanuk Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Dunn will be like a new signing when he's back. How many times has that been said at Blackburn and Brum?
modes98 Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 We need a right or left midfielder with the ability to put a good cross in. MGP can't do it often enough, Emerton started the season well but has no confidence in his ability.
JAL Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Dunn will be like a new signing when he's back. Whatever
Waggy76 Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Dunn will be like a new signing when he's back. He has not played wellconsistently since he came back ..But I admit he played well early season Rovers have missed a fully fit Robbie Savage , he was the heart beat of the side . when he broke his leg at Watford a lot of what Rovers were about broke as well ..

Well said. It's been almost all downhill since then.
