He won't be a 'headcase' at all. No doubt he'll be claiming to have been abused as a child.

He probably was. But it makes no difference. He acted like an animal and should be treated as such. Human rights should be reserved for those who conduct themselves humanely.

This expression always bugs me. You'll find gratuitous violence such as this is more attributable to mankind than the animal kingdom.

Not true - I sat in the Banker (Pub on the Thames) the other day and watched a seagull kill another bird/chick for no other reason than to kill it - it didn't eat it and when I knocked the window it flew about 10 yards and once it was happy there was no threat to it, it came back and finished it off

Seagulls will target small/weaker birds. Survival of the fittest and all that.

In contrast, in mankind's "civilized" society, a man abuses and murders a defenceless child for nothing but his own sick pleasure.

Don't foxes kill chickens for fun?

Foxes kill for pleasure

False: This accusation is untrue: foxes do not kill for fun. Most animals need to find food every day to survive. Some nights are better than others in terms of food for a fox so, given the opportunity, foxes will always kill surplus food and cache (bury) it, to eat on another night when hunting is less good. This is a very successful strategy for surviving in the wild.

However, when a fox breaks into a hen house it is surrounded by easily caught prey. Its normal behaviour, and a good survival strategy is to kill all prey available and try to cache it. Given the option, the fox will come back for the remaining corpses and cache them.

You're right. The comparison between this child killer and an animal is unfair to animals. But as I am a kind and benevolent soul, I'd still treat him like one. Take him to the nearest vet and put him down like a mad dog.

Consider though, pigs frequently eat their new born young and male Lions often kill lion cubs. There are lots of instances of similar cruelty and abhorrent behaviour all through the animal kingdom.

Animals don't do "cruelty and abhorrent behaviour."

How pedantic is that? Just to explain to you in the simplest terms Colin I'd like to point out that animals won't be reading this either. Homo sapiens will however and it is their standards and perceptions that I use as a platform.

Just as an aside which species can you relate to best Colin?

You tell us. I don't know.

No sh1t Sherlock, I never suggested they would be. What are you on about?

Homo sapiens will however and it is their standards and perceptions that I use as a platform.

Has that rod up your rectum got a rod up its rectum?

Just as an aside which species can you relate to best Colin?

Giant panda. How about you?

Really? Is it right than that the reason why panda bears are going extinct is because the male pandas like eating more than they like mating. :P

Hang on a sec. I asked you a question. There's little to be gained by you replying with a completely different question to try and avoid the issue.

Yours faithfully

Clive
