The LT's original story was on the lines that the club might change its name as Accrington didn't deserve a football club to bear its name due to a lack of interest. This was not intended as a criticism of the regular attenders-the club just wants more.

In today's LT the Accy Chairman says he has had 3 offers to buy the Club, one of which would have included re-locating to Leigh. The last one valued the Club at 1.5 million.

Just to be clear, I originally typed in "L a n c a s h i r e U n i t e d", but the mods have done something that automatically changes it to "Blackburn Rovers"
