I knew this up for sale business would bite us in the bum. Can you imagine the interviews:

Laudrup/Fat Sam/Sir Alf: 'Can you outline the owners goals for the club over the medium to long-term?'

Williams: 'They want to sell up ASAP'

L/FS/SA: 'Err, OK then. So how long would I be given to implement my own ideas?'

Williams: 'No effin idea mate. We could all be on the dole the next day.'

L/FS/SA: Thank you. I'll see myself out.

About three years ago I was speaking to a Solicitor who used to act for Jack Walker and he predicted that something similar to what is happening now would occur and that in fact Rovers and the Dingles would end up swapping places.

I thought this was too fantastic to even contemplate at the time but his reasoning was that whereas Burnley had real leadership, commitment, direction and a sense of purpose in the Boardroom, we had none of that in the wake of Jack passing away and the subsequent arrangements.

At this moment were Burnley are in the Championship and were we are in the Premiership it is a likely scenario, and MK Dons have a good chance of promotion to the Championship so Ince could be up against his old club, but as long as we don't play like Bolton Wanderers ! :P

I think some fans don't realize the Dingles visit here. They must be having the time of their lives reading that...

* We want their manager to get us out of the ######.

* We should sign Chris Eagles to replace Bentley.

* We've been told we will someday swap places with them.

Come on, people. Let's have some bloody dignity here.

Erm... Didnt we give Ince a 4-5 year deal. So any of those managers would have had time to implement their ideas...?

Doe's anyone know who Souness was involved with when he was linked to a takeover of Wolves?

Just wondered who they we're and if they are still looking for a club. I think there offer was around £20m, a lot less than the trustees want for us, for now anyway.

"There has been quite a lot of interest in the opportunity to acquire control of Wolves and confidential discussions have taken place with a number of potential investors," said chief executive Jez Moxey. "Last week another party, which included Graeme Souness, tabled a written proposal.

I don't envision any interest in Rovers whatsoever until our league status is determined.

Brian Kennedy, wealthy chap and owner of Sale Sharks, was the main money man of that group.

However that was two years ago and I believe he is now more interested in other projects apart from football.
