Silencio Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Journeyman? Do you know what a 'Journeyman' is? Evidently not. I bet Hughesy thought he was the ###### whilst he played for us because he is the most biased poster here. I thought RSC was very good but preferred Sutton as a number 9.

TimmyJimmy Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 As has been said many times before on this site, beware the Pendle Witches you tell some people about the Ewood curse and they just don't believe you. Benni, leave at your peril
Hughesy Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Wrong word.... In simple english for you then - he is a greedy little ba$tard that jumped ship to the next place as soon as the money signs showed! He didnt care what we had done for him & spat his dummy out like a little prick.
tcj_jones Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 What is it with Roque and these under-handed and indirect dealings with the press? No medical professional would come out in the press and criticise a club without their patient's approval. He really is a snivelling little weasel. Saying that, I think club's are hugely negligent in rushing players back from injury with little regard for the player's future career. I think it really is a short-sighted approach and one that ultimately backfires on the club.
Dufflite Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Doctors don't speak to anyone about their patients (patient confidentiality) so whats this all about? Very odd story. If Rocky didnt feel up to playing I'm darn sure he would have got his mum to write him a note.
RoyRover Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 I have absolutely no sympathy for the guy. We gave him a chance to resurrect his floundering, injury plagued career. We got a good season out of him and naturally wanted to hold onto him, to help the team progress. When he didn't get his move to a 'big club' he spent the rest of the season running to the press in Paraguay saying how he was unhappy and wanted a bigger challenge (even though he was continually injured) and when he was quizzed on it, he used the good old excuse of his words being lost in translation. Screw him and I wouldn't be surprised if he missed the World Cup.
