It's well documented he wants to leave why not just keep his mouth shut until summer, he's disrespecting the club and making a rod for his own back, what if now he has a poor second half to the season and old Sparky gets the boot, what next for him?

No problem, I'm sure we'll keep cheering the lad on and at the same time give a certain lad from the MK DONS a rough time for trying his hardest.

Mind you, you can hardly blame Cruz for wanting to "do one" with the likes of that pathetic "turnout" from the folk of Blackburn yesterday.

There was a time where stadia were full for FA Cup games, before everyone associated with the game got bloated and greedy on the TV money and prices had to be raised to silly levels just to satiate the crazy wage demands of the like of Roque.

Rovers fans 'notoriously fickle' according to that report, nowt like a good kicking when your down eh!

Do Rovers fans a favour Cruz,we all know you want to leave but please keep your mouth SHUT....show some respect for the club who pay your wages and the fans who support you!

Oh and dont forget you used to get cup games as part off your season ticket

back on subject i think we should get rid ASAP in summer.

On the note off cheering cruz on i never done it since he said he wants to leave but get slated from a set off fans near me who seems to think he is golden boy and cannot do anything wrong

I wish Sam would tell the players to shut up and ban them speaking to the press. Not happy at all with the rubbish that keeps being printed.

You are Rovers players, lads, you owe your alleigance to Rovers, we are not interested in your feelings about City or any other club unless it is in the context of a match. We are not interested in where you've been and where you want to go and we would prefer you to 'big' up Rovers who are paying your wages rather than another club.

Oh, and whilst you are at it, we would like to win a few matches.

Thank you.

He also said in this video "yo entiendo,es por eso que hoy por hoy estoy concentrado y metidisimo de lo que es el Rovers." He is fully committed to Rovers, and concentrated,at least till the end of this season.

Oh, that's good of him.

Roque 'done' with Rovers

I wish he'd just shut his gob. He seems determined to leave as a villain.

"I came here for continuity, to get up to pace again and I did pretty quickly. My intention was always to get in shape and then move to a big club."

Another mis-quote?

Seems us little club types should just be grateful that we rescued his career. How quickly they forget.

Yes, in fact he was actually trying to say how much he loves Rovers and how he's staying forever.

It's amazing how people keep trying to make excuses for him. And every time I try to argue how players with mentality like him are killing our club and football in general, I only get called an idiot and told to "grow up" and "learn how football works". Well, I hope people are happy now.

Not by me Mr. E

I was wondering why Rocky did not look in the least bit happy when he scored.

I don't know because every goal he puts in the net enhances his chances of moving in the summer. Nobody will want a goal scorere who is not scoring.

Rocky is quoted in a story in the Lancashire Telegraph talking about the team in a very positive way and about slipping one by Van der Sar. Good overall comments by a real positive professioal.

I'm sure Roque Santa Cruz knows if he were to score the first league goal against Utd in a gazillion years today, his stock would rise, and chances of moving to a club of his choice would also be enhanced!

This can only serve to help our seemingly helpless cause today.

The bottom line is Roque will have to play like someone worth £20 milion for anyone to buy him.

Maybe that penny will drop soon.

Exactly, and if he does it's win-win for us. He plays to that level, scores the goals and we'll probably stay up. Offloading such an inconsistent player for £20 million in the summer should be a no brainer, and then even if some of that gets swallowed up we should have a lot of money to rebuild our side.
