You can add in Huddlestone and then we'd be on a winner in my eyes.

I really rate him, he maybe a little slow but his range of passing is fantastic.

Against Newcastle he showed what he can do. the problem is that if you ask spurs fans they find that he doesn't always turn up in games. He can do it but when there's pressure on him he goes missing.

No thanks, I'd want a cash heavy deal. If they want him and the figure they are able to pay is 12 million then go 12 plus a player.

Not for me Eddie. Player swaps are better. We all know what happens to cash. It gets trousered by the faceless ones in Jersey who don't care about the fate of the team.

I've always liked him, I'm sure I said we should ask for them both with Bentley as well. He's a younger tugay like player and above all English

He needs games on a regular basis, and we need a midfielder who can accutually pass a ball 360 degrees, your right he does go missin at times but he would be a more important player with us and hopefully that would resolve the issue.

What I meant was, we're already taking a cut on the January price by dropping to 12 million, so at that price they should be adding a player in. 7 million plus a player would be a huge collapse on our part.

I agree with that. It didn't come across to me in the original post.

I watched the Spurs game and in particular three players that have been mentioned in recent weeks, Hutton Huddlestone and Bent.

Ok it was Newcastle, I have to say I would welcome all three if they wanted to come.

We would have the right back we need, As Majiball states Tugays replacement and a striker with pace who can create his own goals.

On the open market those three would cost in the region of 15-18m IMO so that would do me in exchange for RSC, Harry says he's having a mass clear out, so why not.

I also liked the look of the lad at WBA Brunt, good left foot, get him in and MGP out, thats four of the six I think would improve our starting eleven.

The rest can wait until January.

Basing your opinion on Brunt on his performance yesterday?

He's actually done quite well in most of the games I've seen. Not advocating buying him - I never comment on who I think we should buy, but he has played well in more games than yesterday.

I too was starting to consider brunt as an option to push MGP. He has scored some goals lately and can take a decent set piece too.

If spurs really are having a mass clear out. We should take Bent, Huddlestone & Zakora/ Jenas off them.

Is that because he scored 2 goals VS City yesterday. Pedersens' life will become even more easier if we buy him. The guy is useless, and there is a reason why he is playing for West Brom. He has no height, no power and very little skill. He has a half decent shot that's about it. Other than that the guy is total garbage.

Jenas would never come to Rovers.

Huddlestone is just a fantasy as we don't have that kind of money to spend on him after spending £4million Grella  .

Zakora, again I doubt he would want to come.

:rover: well seeing they did not ring me personally i reckon it was about 15 million <_<:brfcsmilie:

So you reckon we should have accepted their first bid, reckon we could have got three players in with that cash, - but you aint got a clue how much it was?

Great Wagster. You're going worse. :)

No height..... 185cm... MGP 183cm

No Power.....Probably about the same if not more than MGP, weighing in at 84.44 kg he's hardly light weight. MGP 74kg

No skill,......Well you could have fooled me, is technique not part of skill.

Goals this season 6 MGP 0

Assists 2 MGP 8

Age 24 MGP 27

App 2008/9 all comps 25 (8) 3Y MGP 29 (3) 3Y 1R

Taken from WBA web site.

Although in and out of the side during his first season at The Hawthorns his assists proved invaluable in helping the Baggies smash 109 goals throughout the campaign.

His point-saving strike as a substitute in the penultimate league game against Southampton effectively sealed Albion's automatic promotion to the Premier League.

And he put the icing on the cake with a cracking second goal in the final-day 2-0 win at QPR to secure the Championship crown, just days after celebrating the birth of his first child.

Brunt began his career as a trainee at Middlesbrough before joining the Owls in April 2004 following a successful month-long loan spell.

During 2006/07, the Belfast-born ace recorded his biggest goal tally for a season by netting ten times in 44 Championship games, including two as a substitute, to help Brian Laws' men finish ninth.

I'm not to sure this all constitutes utter garbage IMO. the fact that all the WBA players are still giving 100% says a lot about them, is MGP, Ill let you answer that one.

IMO he is a better option to the current MGP.

I've no idea what was, or wasn't bid Waggy. Mind you, I'm not the one making noises about selling RSC without any facts to go on.

No height..... 185cm... MGP 183cm WHOSE BETTER IN THE AIR? PEDERSEN IS ONE OF THE BEST IN THE LEAGUE IN WINNING HEADERS AND HAS A BRILLIANT LEAP. ALSO GOT THE LONG THROW WHICH SAM UTILISES A LOT.

No Power.....Probably about the same if not more than MGP, weighing in at 84.44 kg he's hardly light weight. MGP 74kg

No skill,......Well you could have fooled me, is technique not part of skill.

Goals this season 6 MGP 0 I'LL GIVE HIM THAT HE HAS SCORED GOALS, HOWEVER 3 OF THEM HAVE COME IN DEFEATS WHICH MEAN NOTHING AND ONE WAS A PENALTY. NOT REALLY A MATCH WINNER IS HE (AND I KNOW HE SCORED ONE MATCH WINNER VS WEST HAM)

Assists 2 MGP 8 STATS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES

Age 24 MGP 27

App 2008/9 all comps 25 (8) 3Y MGP 29 (3) 3Y 1R

Taken from WBA web site. THAT SAYS IT ALL, IF ROVERS TALKED ABOUT PEDERSEN THEY'D MAKE HIM SOUND LIKE RONALDO.

PRESS ASSOCIATION STORY TONIGHT

1 SOCCER Blackburn Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ SET ON ROVERS EXIT

Roque Santa Cruz claims he has told Blackburn he wants to leave the club at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old, currently recuperating after undergoing a surgical procedure on his troublesome right knee last week, told Paraguayan radio he has informed Rovers he wants to move on in the summer.

``I have already told them (Blackburn) and they know that before the transfer window closes I would like to continue my career at a bigger, more ambitious team,'' he told Radio Nanduti.

``Even though I haven't heard anything, I haven't changed my mind.

``I think it will be very difficult for me to play again this season because of the recovery. Our last league match is on May 24 and I also need a couple of days for my knee to physically recover.''

The former Bayern Munich frontman could, therefore, have played his last match for Blackburn, as he does not intend to take to the field again before he is 100% fit.

Santa Cruz last week underwent an arthroscopy in Germany, which showed ``a minor degree of wear and tear''. He had the joint washed out but did not require any active surgical procedure.

``I had to clean the zone of the cruciate ligament operation I had three or four years ago because there was some liquid there,'' he said.

``When I had the tendonitis in the left knee, it made the other leg overwork. That's why it got worse and I needed the surgery.

``Now, it is up to the knee. The recovery time is between four and six weeks and I will not hurry. The most important thing is to play without any problems.

``I will wait for my knee to be perfect, no matter how long it takes.''

Meanwhile Santa Cruz, who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City to rejoin his former Blackburn boss Mark Hughes, has tipped Manchester United to retain the Barclays Premier League title.

``They have the experience,'' he said. ``They are facing easier rivals. I think Chelsea are the strongest team they will play.

``I don't see Chelsea winning all their remaining games.''

Cheers Roque! Just when we needed everybody focused. He has no intention of pulling on a rovers shirt again, he will claim to be unfit even if fit from now until the season ends.

I think we will get closer to £10m than the reported £19m in the summer.
