modes98 Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 The Giants on the other hand rumble on. Minus Jacobs and Burress. Hixon was freeking awesome last night. A man on a Mission.
Manchester Blue Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 I still think the Bronco's willl sneak it but it will be cose. Don't think the Chargers have been awful just very hit and miss and lost a couple of very close ones like last night and the Steelers. In fairness I think you can't predict so much of this season. 2 weeks ago it was looking a shoe in for Titans v Giants Superbowl and then the Jets give them a going over. Great stuff.
ABBEY Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 we may sneak in but we we sneak straight back out.
AussieinUk Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Congratulations to Myron Rolle of FSU… now a Rhodes scholar. Tough call for the the guy, with a choice of Oxford (Medicine) or the NFL draft.
Eddie Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Just to throw in a bit of gambling to this thread, I really like the price on the Lions to beat the Titans today. Worth a flutter if you have a few pounds to spare.
ABBEY Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 theres more chance of our division ending up superbowl winners.

T4E Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 21-3 Titans already and it's still the 1st quarter.

rog of the rovers Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Lions lost Abs! Not really a shock eh? Just glad I had LenDale White and Kerry Collins in my fantasy team this week!

American Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Lions lost Abs! Not really a shock eh? Just glad I had LenDale White and Kerry Collins in my fantasy team this week! Glad my opponent had LenDale White ...... on the bench!
Shevchenko Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Plexico Burress shot...by accident. Don't worry, he'll live.

ELBOW WAS DEFO DOWN GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR NOW IM IN A VERY VERY VERY BAD TEMPER Unfortunately, the elbow was down, but there was no camera angle to prove it.
T4E Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 It didn't look down on the angles they showed, but as you say, inconclusive. Anyway, Hillis was excellent again. He looks like yet another plug and play Shanny HB. Cutler showed the good and bad sides in equal measure, the desperate throw for the pick in the end zone when he was out of the pocket was suicidal, but he dug himself out of that. Broncos should now make the play offs, although it would be typical to go and lose to the Chiefs next week now.
RibbleValleyRover Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Patriots vs Buccaneers is going to be the NFL game at Wembley next year: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/other_spor...all/7759299.stm BTW thanks to everyone who provided some links/information on learning how American football is played. I am checking out the Coach Stilo site and have bought Madden 08.
Rovermatt Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 I was considering going to that but both teams are way down my list of interests. Tampa Bay...meh. Anyway, yet another comprehensive victory for the Giants yesterday. They roll on mercilessly. They have the Eagles and the Cowboys next but I really can see them getting through that unscathed.

Except when one of them is REALLY bad, it seems to always be that the Broncos beat the Raiders, the Raiders beat the Chiefs and the Chiefs beat the Broncos.
T4E Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 You're not wrong. Pats - Bucs, I'm in like flint.
Rovermatt Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 As stated above Plaxico Burress has reached epic new levels of douchebaggery. Can the Giants go all the way without this clown?
