modes98 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 He's keeping his lawyer in the lap of luxery! If it wasn't bad enough shooting yourself in the leg, you then get arrested for it! Dumbass! Luckily Giants have stepped it up without him.

Rovermatt Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 He's also managed to get the team's best linebacker Pierce mixed up in the whole sorry incident. What a joker.
T4E Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 As stated above Plaxico Burress has reached epic new levels of douchebaggery. Can the Giants go all the way without this clown? They did it without Shockey last year, and they don't miss Strahan, so I don't see why not.
Billy Castell Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 As stated above Plaxico Burress has reached epic new levels of douchebaggery. Can the Giants go all the way without this clown? Talk about shooting yourself in the foot................. Why the hell did he have a gun in the first place? Was he at home checking himself in the mirror muttering "bling, yeah that's good. Shoes? Yeah they're great. Now where is my firearm, bottles of Cristal don't open themselves you know."

He was in a night club which is even more ridiculous.
Shevchenko Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 The funny thing is that he's being charged with illegal possession of a firearm as it wasn't registered in New York or something... Minimum jail time = 3 years. If he gets out of that he still has to convince the league that he didn't break the personal conduct rules. So...he won't play for the Giants again.
T4E Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 He's going to get hit a lot - and he's got no one to pass to. He had a high INT tally at BC which was attributed to a poor receiving corp - not sure ATL have really thought this one through. It's got bust written all over it. Categorical proof that I know absolutely nothing about football. Ryan is looking superb today and has been far better than I expected him to be all season.
T4E Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Cutler has thrown a pick already, and the Chiefs run it in for six. Great.

That's the beauty of the game though, you never really know what is going to happen or who is going to do well or bust... Oh and we stuffed the Giants! Loving it. A lot. A lot.
ABBEY Posted December 7, 2008 Author Posted December 7, 2008 doh! haha super clady!!!! *****mile high salute****** hillisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Rovermatt Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Fecking Burress was really missed today. What a tosser! Did anyone see the SEC championship game last night? It was fantastic. Tim Tebow is a superstar-in-waiting.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Fecking Burress was really missed today. What a tosser! Did anyone see the SEC championship game last night? It was fantastic. Tim Tebow is a superstar-in-waiting. Everything I've read suggests he's not.
T4E Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I've spoken about Tebow on here a few times before, but I really can't get enough of the guy so I'm going to do it again. Tim Tebow is a freak in College football, the question is are his skills effective based on size and a rare-ish scheme that the Gators run, or will he be able to make the same plays in the NFL against bigger linemen, bigger DB's and more conventional schemes that aren't built around him. I can see someone taking him early in the draft (if he declares) and building the franchise around him, which I can imagine will lead to some great highlight reel stuff, but not a lot in the way of Championships. Either way I'm looking forward to see how he pans out. I mean, he's scored more TDs for the Gators on the ground than Emmitt Smith did. Thats big.
T4E Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 The Chargers just went from 21-10 down with 1:20 on the clock to win 22-21 and stay in the hunt in the AFC West. Can't see the Broncos beating Carolina today, so it'll now go to next week.
Rovermatt Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Eli played like my granny last night. What a horror show. Robbed of his two best weapons through injury (Jacobs) and stupidity (Burress), the guy had nowhere to go. The Giants won't go far in the playoffs looking like this.
ABBEY Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 SUICIFLAMINGSIDAL...................................SHANNY WALKING THE TIGHTROPE AS MUCH AS IT HURTS TO SAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BRONCO FORUMS ARE READY TO HANG HIM
T4E Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Absolutely awful. We've been able to see this coming. Even when the chargers were 5-8 and we were 8-5 I had a bad feeling. This is the worst position to be in - probably no post season and a rubbish draft pick. It's going to take a huge performance next week to make me believe it's worth going to the play-offs.
ABBEY Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 AND ITS THE LATE GAME GRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!! SKY + GRRRRR
T4E Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 FFS I didn't even think of that. I'm taking Colts-Giants in SB with the Colts to win.
Manchester Blue Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I know you guys still predicted it but 3 weeks ago i'd written off any chance of the Chargers making the playoffs. Then they come from 10 points back with a min and half to go to win one week, hand the Bucs their first home defeat of the season the week after. It's all setup for falling at the final hurdle!! They said it would be the late game subject to change early doors yesterday. I'm off work so at least I can sky+ it. Not getting my hopes up and do agree to an extent that neither team will make inroads in the playoffs. Then again keep thinking about the Steelers when then went on a good late run and went all the way. I think overall it's so open I can't think who will be in the SB. Bit disapointed for the Jets, quite enjoyed watching them this season and can't see them sneaking it now.

The Chargers deserve to make it for that reason alone. They showed more fight in those 90 seconds than the Broncos have all season. Lose at home to the Bills - you deserve nothing.
