Ricky Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Nice to see one of our old boys finally doing well somwhere. At the grand old age of 24 he's had more clubs than Tiger Woods (well 10 anyway) and has just won player of the year for Ipswich after baggin 16 goals in all competitions. Remember him being touted around as a good prospect quite a few years ago, pretty sure it was about the same time as Ben Burgess was playing for the youth team.

LeftWinger Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I remember watching him and thinking he looked decent for our youth team. Shame he did what he did.
Guest fernhurstblue Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 didnt he leave the club under a bit of a cloud ..... i'll leave it for others to state the reason
rover6 Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Well done to Jemal Johnson, too, for getting promoted with MK Dons. Andy Taylor will be in contention for Young Player of the Year at Tranmere. Wow... talk about conveyor belt of talent.
Ricky Posted April 23, 2008 Author Posted April 23, 2008 Of course, completely forget about the incident in question. I knew there was a reason he went to Bolton
Manchester Blue Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 In fairness to him it wasn't really his fault...he was scouse after all...it's in the genes.
pksrover Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 In fairness to him it wasn't really his fault...he was scouse after all...it's in the genes. I dare you to tell my girlfriend that! She's not happy with the stereotyping of scousers

SAS Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I was a bit gutted he left, cos he was one of the best in the youth at the time But i suppose you have to go for doing what he did
Tris Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 May I ask what he did? Allegedly something allegedly went missing from an alleged dressing room - the something in question allegedly belonged to a team mate of Mr Walters who (it was alleged) was seen in the proximity at the time of the alleged disappearance of the said item.

I guess there was no doubt that he was guilty then
