[Archived] Next Season Finishes With A 9

:rover: 1999 RELAGATION :angry::brfcsmilie:

the only thing that'd worry me about a relegation repeat, would be if brian kidd was re-hired as manager! that's as likely as we are to go down, too!

1988-89, beaten by palace in the play-off final.

i was born in 1979, though.... so not all bad! lol.

To put a positive slant on next season...

1995 Premier League Champions

2002 League Cup Winners - 7 years later

2009 7 more years later (has our time come for the FA Cup?!)

I like this theory

It would be amazing, a domestic treble. I wouldn't rule us out as our record is very good in the domestic competitions, quarters and semi finals for quite a few years.

This is uncanny.

If you take the digits of 2009, ie 2+0+0+9 it comes to eleven!

This is of course the number of players in a starting line up. Looks like we've had it then.

Yeah, the next game is away too so 2 - 0 and then we're at home so 0 - 9...

Oh dear... ;)

I was thinking about that the other day. Add up the digits and they come to eleven.

Eleven years ago I was thirty nine. Add up those digits and they come to twelve.

I was twelve when I saw my first East Lancs derby when Rovers beat Burnley 2-0 in a friendly at Ewood.

Nothing wrong with the season ending in a nine as far as I'm concerned.
