[Archived] Nicko's Thread Part 3

Recommended Posts

Find out who this Blackburn Insider is someone please, i don't want Nicko feeling as though he can't say anything on here because i know the vast majority of us are very appreciative of his insider knowledge and honesty with us. Is there anyway this thread can be locked so only members can read it and then we would know if it is one of us members doing the leaking.

From Nicko's last few posts and what the analyst on SSN was saying, it sounds as thought RA really is not keen on MH and Kenyon et al are trying damn hard to change his mind but with RA being a very stubborn businessman, that is very likely an impossible task. SSN think that RA is adament on having Ancelloti regardless of what the man has said himself today.

alx, I know that was said int he past, but its also recently been reported that he has a 3 year deal. either way, its too costly to fire him.

random thought.... for all the money Roma has, why does he always have those ugly white batches in his scruffy beard. You'd think he could hire someone who could color that....

I've been doing some detective work and Blackburn Insider doesn't post in capitals, doesn't hate all things Rangers and doesn't say 'laters all'.

That rules 3 out.

I often read his blog and to be honest, I think he has other things to do with his time.

As for myself, my gambling ends with the Deal or No Deal quiz machine in the pub. Nothing is sweeter than conning money out of Noel Edmonds simply by utilising my massively useless general knowledge.

Quite an opinion of himself hasnt he?! All that stuff about Cheshire parents and his plastic pyramids...jesus.

Yes well probably not him.

OK, wait's over. The papers won't be able to get it in this late. Let's see how long this takes to hit SSN...

Roman Abramovich called a halt to naming a new Chelsea manager this evening. He is not happy with the thought of appointing Sparky quickly and wants more time to get the right guy.

This is a total embarassment to some of his Chelsea officials who have been teeing up your manager.

Abramovich wants to wait and see if some of those who have been sounded out will change their minds and actually want the job.

That means Big Phil comes back into the frame, possibly even Rijkaard if he can be persuaded that he does not need a break and maybe it gives them time to work on Ancelotti.

Anyway, this means Sparky has to give Man City an answer now - or go back to Rovers.

As for Chelsea's next boss, I don't care now, it doesn't affect me.

The main focus is what Sparky does with the City offer. Does he jump and take a risk or come back to Rovers and everyone tries to put a positive spin on it.

A total farce.

Iwas wondering if Abramovich was doing that, he did not get billions by being dictated to. Anyway to A RESULT, OUTEFFINSTANDING. Sparky has to pick Citeh, justice is served the gamble did not pay off. Thanks Sparky and good luck. Have a feeling you'll be needing it over there.

Now, if Sparky does want to come back, the board stump up some serious spends, Sparky says he loves it here and that is really all he ever wanted was the financial backing to be the best he and Rovers could be, some kisses and hugs and it's back to business.

But WAIT, now Hicks and Gillette fire Benitez and............

Anyone hear any more on the compo figure from City, as a city fan who is never wrong apparently has posted it on one of their forums and says it's £2m?

LET says 5m and JW will squeeze the Mancs for all they are worth! I think that's nearer the mark,

Thanks for the great work Nicko and keeping everyone informed it is really appreciated by all of the Rovers fan.

So it looks like Hughes has to decide whether to "stick" or "twist". The big problem he has if he decides to "stick" is whether the club management and more importantly the fans could ever trust him again and also how could he say to the likes of Bentley that they need to honour their contracts.

Quite an opinion of himself hasnt he?!

Don't get me started. For everything interesting or well informed he says, he then writes about some 'terrible' upper-class problem in Marple (poor rubbish collection and other such world affecting issues) and how atheists are retarded.

Still, I'm sure he's a stand up guy and he definitely has a lot of time for his kids.

Nearer the Spark..

Eh....

Eh........

B)

Very good! I think we're all cheering up now! Even if Hughes goes it's to the wrong club and we've enough to promise a fighting fund and big salary - this could be the biggest laugh since Souey headed for Barcode! Heh Heh!

Wonder what happens if Abramovich changes his mind next week and Sparky's off to Chelsea? City won't be able to keep him - There's always a bigger fish!

It's crystal clear the owner of Chelsea doesn't want Hughes as first choice to the point he's altered all his plans just to see if someone better comes along. Seems like a bridge burnt to me. City must surely realise that they weren't first choice to Hughes as well which can hardly be a good start to the relationship.

I don't understand, so somebody has read Nicko's posts on this forum and presented the information elsewhere as if it were their own? I'm not entirely sure what the problem is because, theoretically, anybody could have done that for months now?

True, but this is the only issue we've ever seriously discussed that the rest of the footballing world will actually take an interest in.
