Well what happens is that there is tantalising comment then lots of people log onto the site hitting refresh every 5 seconds so there is no bandwidth left.

It feels so weird. Words cant describe it as compairing it to loosing a mate or girlfriend would be pathetic, but Hughes just defined this Rovers side. Even though I knew it would happen sooner or later I never expected the City move (untill yesterday).

I see Laudrup got the quarter finals of the Uefa Cup beating Tottenham Hotspur, Anderlecht, AEK and Benfica on the way.

He got to the Copa del rey final as well

In terms of the league he got them around midtable, but got wins over Madrid and Barcelona. And from the looks of it he was highly praised for the attacking football his team played, regarded as some of the best of the season.

Not bad for his first season :rock:

SSN says Hughes has signed

As mentioned before - I am Laudrup biggest fan. I just dont want him as Rovers manager even though he still IS avaliable. He doesnt shop very well and he has absolutely no loyalty. First chance of moving up he is gone.

That said he does have his teams playing nice football.

Might as well add the Official board is running round like an excited puppy over a "report" that Rovers are pressing Everon to talk to David Moyes.

As I recall they used to put players up in the Duncanwotsit.

I know one of the leading candidates they want to talk to...that's all I have managed to glean so far. There may be more. He may not want it.
