Neither candidate has managed in the Premier League. Either a player or an assistant.

I'm thinking..

1. Shearer (which other possible Brits could be in the frame who have played but not managed in the Premier League?!)

2. Deschamps - nicko might not have been a fan of his self-publicising style but I think like others he'd see him as a good candidate for Rovers.

Or maybe I'm very wrong...

To be honest I can't say I'm excited about Candidate A, whether it be Adams, Shearer etc...if they havent managed in the Premier League they either have only managed in lower leagues and had to leave their job, or havent managed at all...given the lack of British managers which manage abroad.

Candidate B there's a lot more possibilities...

No...our man has Premier League experience but hasn't managed. So it's not him..

Shearer is the only viable option for person A mentioned so far...

So what happened with the Ronaldo bid with a twist. Did you work it out or has it just gone out of people's thoughts for a while as you try to work out the Rovers mystery candidates?

Doubt he'd excite nicko.

I remember nicko being excited at the thought of Shearer though....I shudder at the thought myself.

True.. just a desperate guess. As for Shearer once of a day I would have been happy about the possibility of him being manager, but he doesn't really inspire me a great deal
