Hate to say this folks but its looking ruddy bleak managerial wise!

:(

The process has scarcely started.

There is a huge amount of talent out there which could easily come into play. Very little of it is English but that doesn't matter- our last English Manager was Brian Kidd.

Blackburn Rovers is one of the world's plum managerial jobs.

I'll tell you something....the disappointment at losing Hughes has quickly turned into excitement!! Cant wait to find who these guys are! the way Nicko is carrying on about them is very encouraging!

Mark who? ^_^

Looking bleak? A team that finished 7th in the strongest league in the world, the richest in the world. Strong squad with at least £10m before sales to spend.

Im sure we will have many top class candidates

Our people are:

Free agents

and

Have played/coached but NOT managed in the Premier League.

So noone with a current job, and noone who has previously managed in the Premier League.

I know I've laboured this point but I can't think of anyone but Shearer for the first (British) candidate. If they've never managed it'd have to be a Rovers hero to even get the board to consider them.

I'm sure I'll be proved wrong though...

Did nico say that the two people in question had definitely not managed in the premier league or just that they had premier league experience?

Will they have coaching staff as good as Hughes. The players really looked forward to come into work every day.

Training ground will have to be re-designed inside, it is all things Sparky has introduced. We really had a top class set up there.
