Does anyone mind if I press the refresh button to see any new posts on this page?

Only I wouldn't like to be the person who blasts the brfcs website into kingdom come.

Where is Nicko? Am in dire need of my B movie horror nightly cliffhanger. Dont tell me he is

1. Doing his job

2. Speaking to his wife

This is a disaster. Surely the outcome of Nicko's thread is he loses both of the above due to an abnormal obsession with an off kilter MB specialising in rubbish poetry, mental rantings and fantasy footy theories?

Nicko. Don/t be normal. Come back to the land of the mad. We miss you.

you know it makes sense

"Surely the outcome of Nicko's thread is he loses both of the above due to an abnormal obsession with an off kilter MB specialising in rubbish poetry"

No time for poetry Paddy when I'm so busy bombarding any Man City website I can find with tales of Hughes's perfidy - "infamy, infamy - they've all got it in for me!"

"2. Speaking to his wife"

Mine isn't speaking to me at the moment :tu:

Nicko away from Rovers for a moment heard a wisper that Mark Magee was being lined up at Celtic and that Strachan was fully supportive about the idea as he'd warned Magee off the Hearts job any truth in this.

Not sure if been mentioned - apologies if it has but could candidate B be Martin Jol?

Possibly. But Nicko...who is (Rovers6 please turn to your carer and close your eyes tightly) astonishingly accurate in his calls. Says this is a "Rip snorter". Or something close.

Clues are... Prem lge (played, coached or asst managed), out of work. And not British.

Jol is all of those but not a rip... whatever. At all. But who is? Nicko. Come back to the madness

Disagree and I think you should too. Santa will not go for £13m and bentley for £10m - IF they go it will be for much more. Emre gone for £8m, Milner up for sale for around £8m too. Yet Bentley goes for only £2m more despite all his media attention?? Yeah ok! Bents will go for £15m Minimum.

Crouch is up for £10m, Yet Santa is only worth £3m more? and only £2m more than City reportedly offered in January?? 26 year old, admirers include United and Arsenal. 20+ goals in his first season, continental pedigree and very well known in europe. He is easily worth £20m now.

'Emre gone for £8m'

Is that all Newcastle had to pay Fenerbahce to get rid?

I agree that we'll get at least £15m for Bentley, but don't think we'll get much more than £10m for Roque. He is older with only one season in the Premier league and has a terrible record with injuries.

Why can people not spell MANCINI!?!?!?

No need when we have you as a spell checker :brfcsmilie:

If we all concerned ourselves with how people spell, words they use, grammer etc etc we would not cover many subjects on this message board.

But especially for you M A N C I N I

Anyway could this be candidate B?

I can't remember if I mentioned earlier, but Ginola - completely out of the blue - appeared on SSN saying how one day he'd like to try his hand at management. This was totally out of the blue. The interview could have been conducted months ago for all we know and he made sure it was played. Then again, it's probably all coincidence and I'm being silly.

Still, could we imagine Ginola at Rovers? Would be interesting.

Just read Hughes interview and it's very disappointing that the only reference her made to us was how "easy" it was to leave. I thought he had more class than that...

John Williams made a very fair statement which Hughes should have reinforced...

Would be as bad as Shearer - no experience.

Are Rovers a training ground for trainer managers?

Hughes had at least cut his managerment teeth with Wales - and for quite awhile before coming to Rovers.

Ince Let liecester try him first - shearer let the geardies have him, as he will end up there eventually anyway and we will all go through the, is he staying or going sage we have just had the past few days with Hughes.

BFS - forget it Hollands want to have more than one customer to sell their pies too.

Where is Nicko tonight? He seems very very quiet.

Hughes also said that he really enjoyed his time here and generally had nothing but praise for the club and the staff.

He was professional as always. If he had the money to take the team further, he would still be here. Simple as that.

He had too in order to try to win over city fans because of the man u past.

Maybe he did it to make easier for us to accept that he has gone.

people on here recently said they were in tears when he left, now there disappointed in hughes and angry at him.

What ever words Hughes used nobody would have been happy. It was also man city's press conference - possible they asked him to water down the leaving rovers part.

Who knows - hughes was just happy with the new challenge he has just been given - the old one was finished with. How many of us liked our cars - yet soon forgot it when they got a new one?

So right. But we are decent fans of a proper club. And you are a respectful man acknowledging the decorum required.

Hughes isn't.. The funds for his Fantasy Football play this summer come from the financial rape of a murdering suppressive regime. 3000 dead. millions looted. And Hughes smiles while he bids Monopoly money for footballing prostitutes. This is disgraceful. Unedifying and morally corrupt.

His pact with the devil will inevitably unravel. And I for one will not lord it over the demise of such a rapacious, ungrateful man.

Much.

He is Sin

We Are The Rovers

He didnt go on about us much to be honest, but then it was a press conference about him and Man City. Let him have his limelight - it wont last long if they have a bad spell.

Excited about the future for Rovers, new ideas with a very strong squad - we look in good shape.
