Not in Shearers class!

More disturbing was that Pompey are to offer Kewell 50k a week!!!!!!

Disgusting if true!

Nah it's cheap that Leftwinger, a bargain in fact! In the final reckoning he's actually cost the Mickey mousers about £150,000 per week over the last 3 or so years. Serves em right for signing him on the cheap (like Bellamy and Voronin) and kicking LUFC when they were down and nearly out. Poetic justice how all Lpools dodgy deals have come to nowt I think.

WEMBLEY PRICES - Not a clue - hear the traffic is still as bad.

Off to see my hometown team, Hull City at Wembley... I think I'll take the option of a Maccy D's or nearby bakery or something!

...anyone know the song "Greatest Cockney Rip-off"? ...maybe they saw into the future and saw the "new" Wembley?

Nicko, a couple of players I was just wondering about;

Cleyton from Larissa - anyone looking at him? ...he was class against us and Everton.

&

Sabri Sarioglu... I remember Rovers been linked with him last summer. Anyone in for him this summer?

On a far more important note...Euro 2008 betting.

France look a very highly-priced 9.8 on Betfair. Took a look at their squad yesterday, some real talent. I would also fancy Benzema to be the star of this tournament. The only drawback is the manager who appears to be visiting from Mars. It would also be ironic if they won it after losing twice to the jolly old Jocks.

The story is true, but I would say that...

Tugay has been offered a one year deal and the chance to get involved in coaching. The only hold-up is that it is a low wage with money for appearances.

However I don't think he will get a better financial deal anywhere else, so in the end I suspect he will sign.

Yet another scurrilous red-top rumour comes true...Tugay signing.

According to the newspaper "Marca", Atletico MAdrid have José Castro, Seitaridis, Elber and Mista on their transfer list.

Luis García, Reyes, Cléber, Pernía and Jurado are on the undecided status...

Nicko, would it be any of these that Hughes is looking for?

I think it was an Espanyol player...but that is still to be confirmed.

It's not exactly back-page news, but...

The kid Fielding will be back at the club next season and kept within the ranks to give him reserve games and the like. There has been plenty of interest in him from people wanting a loan deal.

However the Faroes lad Neilsen will be allowed to go out and get some Football League experience.

Nicko, are the rumours about Gerard Pique back to Barcelona true?

Teamtalk says he even has done the medical test.

I would love it if United lost some up and coming prospects!

Teamtalk just repeating the Sunday People. I believe their info was correct... ;)

Pique thinks he would be better in La Liga than the Premier Reserve League [North].

When you go to wembley, may be good to stop off at London Bridge and eat around there (jubilee line) and get back on the train (jubilee line to wembley park)

Being a season ticket holder at SJP I can tell you Milner really is average and has been for us since he walked through the door, he's got no pace and his crossing ability is worse than Pennants, I can only remember him getting one assist from a cross all season and that was Martins goal against Bolton, an acrobatic overhead kick as the cross came in behind him.

Don't get me started on him slowing the game down either by trying to beat the same man 3 or 4 times because he's too slow to pull away from him with the ball.

Being a season ticket holder at Villa, your wrong. ;)

I find it odd you say that, I've seen him a few times playing for you and he has looked one of the better players on the park for you.

Nicko, any further developments on the future of Michael Bradley?

Everton are going to have more money to spend than expected, so they are now looking at better players than Bradley.

So if Rovers want him they just have to step in.

Heerenveen may not get the auction that they hoped for.

The web equivalent to the People, Tribalfootball, seems to think we will pursue Duff this summer. Any clues on price and who is interested, Nicko?

Whilst Duffer is an absolute legend of this club and one of my all time favourite players, i cannot see us making a move for him. I don't think even under the fantastic fitness regime and staff we have, we could turn him around. Sadly injuries have taken their toll and he is a shadow of his former self.

He usually stands out because he gives 100%, similar to Nicky Butt.

Both of them stood out under Roeder because they try hard and he (Roeder) fell out with the better players at the club who stopped performing for him, he dropped N'Zogbia from the team completely so he could accommodate Duff because he was his buy and didn't really have the balls to leave such a high profile player out, even though Zog was our outstanding player the season before.

Milner is average mate and if Keegan gets a chance to get his money back on him he'll be off IMO, he'll bring in better and push Lomano LuaLua's younger brother closer to the first team as back up.
