Sky Sports News are reporting Reuters who are reporting the Panathinaikos website which is [probably] a quote from an agent who wants him to go there to get his commission.

Meanwhile Henk is having his first cold one in a poolside bar in Barbados.

There is a very good reason why he CAN'T have signed for anyone...which will become apparent on Sunday [hopefully].

He can't write

Putting aside all speculation and hope etc - But if Henk Ten Cate does become Rovers manager, why do you think he would be a good appointment for Rovers?

What could he bring to Rovers?

What is good about him compared to other possible candidates for the job?

If you had to write a profile for and against potential managers such as

Henk Ten Cate

Laudrop

Billic

Maybe this should be asked by others on this board why they prefer particular candidates over others. As it is very easy saying we want this or that person - but not saying why. Though the why we don't want BFS has been said over and over.

Just a thought fpr you Nicko and others who may care to answer, who are maybe interested in a sensible debate.

I think he has the best CV of those on the current short list.

It's up to the club to decide whether he is right for them when they see him.

Well my hope is gone with that bastion of accurate reporting saying that.

I'd imagine they're getting their information from the same sources the others did, ie the Panathinaikos website.

nicko has the inside line on the Chelsea story all along and he's not leaving us in any doubt here - I'm confident that he hasn't signed yet.

It looks like they are all going off the same source i.e. the official website.

Its quite possible he could have decided f**k it i can't be bothered waiting for Rovers and decided to take the Pana job. But at the same time it could quite easilly be a ploy by his agent to spark interest, or there could be a serious miscommunication at pana between those in power and those that are in charge of their website.

I await the "concrete news" from Skysports, if Sky says something it must be true. <_<

Another fail for us by the looks of it. What now, he was the last great hope! If its between McClaren and Allardyce I might just start drinking now and not stop!

I have it intravenously fed into my arm now.

I think we should prepare ourselves for BFS. Get the prescription for Ritalin and Prozac now.

Sky once copied a blatantly false "fact" off of Wikipedia for God's sakes.

i don't think most of teh media have a clue, they just all blindly follow what they find from ... otehr media sources.

The BBC are reporting it ... so what? I wouldn't say that they were a bastion of truth by a long chalk.

The Independent were saying today that Allardyce was going to be interviewed next week ... wrong!

some people aren't reading all of this thread!
