Point one - would you tell David Craig anything?

Point two - he made two absolutely huge mistakes in his 'piece' that undermined the rest.

Nobody in the running will say anything at the moment.

You've got to remember there are some big egos out there who won't want to be overlooked...

You think BFS has already been in and is playing it down to save face if he doesnt get it?

I believe so, but as I didn't see him go into a meeting I can't be 100 per cent.

Ince would not admit to an approach - and at this stage MK Dons would be kept in the dark.

I know of another who has been approached but is keeping it quiet and not telling some of his pals.

And of course there is the Ten Cate drama.

God this is exciting !

You think so? TBH I'm pretty underwhelmed so far. So far we have a list of candidates from the media, clearly some media people have access to inside information and others are just making it up as they go along, we are never going to hear from the club until an apointment has been made. The media is speculating on:

Bilic - exciting idea

Allardyce - achieved more at Bolton than Rovers fans are prepared to credit him for. Poor image. No thanks

McClaren - no thanks

Mancini - haven't a clue about him

Michael Laudrup - apparently doing well so far

Advocaat - no thanks

Henk Ten Cate - never really heard of him until he was sacked by Chelsea

Berg - silly at this point

Martinez - who?

Ince - never liked him as a player and may not have the intellect to be a PL manager

I think the only thing to do is sit back, have faith in John Williams and wait for the announcement. I support the team and the club so even if it's Allardyce will still be turning up but he will have a lot to prove if he's to win over the support, more than some of the other candidates?

1 - Partick Thistle.

2 - It's a long story. I believe I was supposed to be Dan Williams' PR plant and then I became Chris Ronnie's PR plant and along the way stumbled across a few stories through my agent mates who wanted me to write them to boost their shares prices. Then my role as a Betfair plant became obvious and my complicated scams to make ten bob out of Ten Cate were exposed by a crack reporter called Angry of Ancoats plus his camp friend Kingsley. I have also set up a charitable business as a provider of leads for the LT, several websites, Setanta among others. However the major idea is to create nicko.com and I am currently fending off six-figure offers.

Ask a silly question and.................... Eh Nicko?

Allardyce on ITV now. Saying something along the lines of he hasn't had any contact with Blackburn just yet. He says that it's very nice to be linked with the job. He also says that he's ready to come back into the game now.

So it looks like he's not had an interview yet.

Just heard that too...Hope it's true...almost any one but him or McClaren...

If you add all the press reports together.

Shearer according to Shearer took an approach from JW and said no

HtC is manager of Panathanaikos

Laudrup et al don't exist as candidates

BFS not interviewed

MK Dons and Swnsea City not approached so no contact with Ince and Martinez.

Then JW made a one minute call to AS on Tuesday and Rovers have in reality done absolutely bugger all else since trousering the £4.6m to £5.5m from Citeh.

Very sensible economy drive by Rovers- who needs a Manager and coaching staff in June anyway?

Think that sums it up really, never believe everything in the media.

Yeah we could just relax for a month and have a holiday instead?

We'll hear soon enough. We just suffer in silence sometimes. Though, I'd prefer that to supporting a pantomine club like Chelsea or Man City. :brfcsmilie:

Joking aside, the Rovers accounts will never look better than they will on 30 June 2008.

7th place media income on the new deal+

The Citeh compensation cash+

Underspent on the minimal transfer budget+

Not paying Bentley at lease £500K since his new contract was offered+

Not paying the Hughes team £200k for the month of June

The accountants will be choking in dust as they get the file marked Blackburn Rovers' Accumulated Tax Losses out of the store room.

Another 133 years like 2007/8 and Rovers will start paying Corporation Tax.

Presumably that's the end of the year accounts audit?

Laudrup in to 12/1 on Betfair. He was 150/1 a couple of days ago.
Bloke on official forum was claiming that two thirds of the board favoured him, and then posted something in Spanish about how he thought he'd do well - It doesn't take many people to place bets to get the odds tumbling.
