Me neither, American. But the club can't afford not playing him if he is staying, he's clearly an integral part of our team. He IS good enough, in my opinion, and if we get our price, good luck to him- he's been a fantastic investment. Damien Duff kissed the Chelsea badge after scoring against us, I sure as hell don't expect David Bentley to treat us any better, and I don't really care. But surely we won't sell anyone before a new manager is brought in?

Sick and tired of this ###### ######, appoint Big Fat Sam already, so we can ###### get on with our lives.

No offence intended; but why don't you just use Norwegian swear words instead of #######? Nobody would know or be offended and the "naughty word" filter would not kick-in. ;)

All these accusations are pointless. No one knows why another poster does anything, unless they have evidence of course.

Ok, I am also coming round to the idea of BFS. The more I hear about Ince, the more put off I am. WwB would just make us a laughing stock (I know that isn't the best reason to not give someone a job) and HTC seems less and less likely unless we pull our finger out. I also thought I read that he was having an interview on Wednesday but I must be mistaken.

I think the 'facebookers', and everyone else saying things against BFS over-reacted. I hope it doesn't mean the board overlook him in favour of Ince.

BFS would be the safe option and at this moment in time, I feel that is what we need.

My order:

1) HTC if it is at all possible.

2) BFS

3) Someone other than WwB and Ince.

God help JW because my views are changing all the time. I just hope the interviews and JW's past record save the day.

I don't know. If you keep slaughtering the candidates I would imagine they might find someone by Christmas...

Nicko ..thought you would have deduced by now that this message board IS the interview panel for the new manager... ARE the financial advisors concerning any proposed take over..IS the sole arbitrator over the proposed transfer of ANY player ( in -bound or outgoing) and WILL determine the number of urinals at the Blackburn End concourse.

We WILL also determine the future transport strategy for East Lancs , the viability of a roundabout outside the Fox and Hounds and whether temporary waiting restrictions should apply on Thursday afternoons outside McDonalds!

Any touting of candidates for the post of official scribe of the messageboard will result in immmediate disqualification

Nicko, I am right in believing the position to be as follows:

Ince - Spoken to but has no coaching qualifications whatsoever - obviously leaves that side of things to Ray Mathias. Also the Rovers would have to pay compensation for a manager who has never managed above the bottom division.

McClaren - Spoken to today, available but nobody wants him and I assume he wouldn't be a cheap option.

Allardyce - Spoken to at some point but the fans dislike of him is probably going to prevent him from being appointed even if the directors thought he was the best available option.

Martinez - Withdrew from the whole process if he was ever in it to begin with. A wise man I think!

Ten Cate - Available until the 1st July. Possibly being interviewed this week but will come with a great deal of legal baggage that the directors might want to avoid.

Davies - Help - if things have got that bad that he is even being mentioned we really are in trouble.

It's a pretty bleak picture and we've yet to get around to the backroom staff!

Hang on, you've been as negative about Ince, McClaren and Allardyce as most!

;)

Yes, I have.

The trouble is that EVERY candidate - as I said two days ago - has doubts about them.

The board are just going to judge for themselves.

What does annoy me is that I understand they are not putting up as big a fight for Ten Cate as they should be.

That saddens me.

I will obviously not get my commission now, but I can comfort myself in the £2.16 made from Betfair by laying him.

[The last part was a joke before the site melts down again].

Martinez - Withdrew from the whole process if he was ever in it to begin with. A wise man I think! NO, I DON'T THINK HE HAS.

Ten Cate - Available until the 1st July. Possibly being interviewed this week but will come with a great deal of legal baggage that the directors might want to avoid. SOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT.

Davies - Help - if things have got that bad that he is even being mentioned we really are in trouble. NO FEAR ON THAT ONE.

It's a pretty bleak picture and we've yet to get around to the backroom staff!

Go to the top of the class.

Taking an overview at this sage maybe it's disappointing that we didn't cast our net a lot more ambitiously overall.

I don't know Bilic or trying to persuade Van Basten not to join Ajax. Unlikely I know but there may be other examples. It would also have sent a positive message to the players.

If you don't ask you don't get.

Now his car WAS at the academy today...

To the exchanges!!!!!

Whoops, I forgot, he has even less qualifications than Ince.

Oh no you don`t !!!!

The old `lets dampen down his chances and get the best price for him` trick isn`t gonna work with us!!

Quick Scotty get your money on him!:lol:

I've given up bothering now.

As long as it's not Jim Iley again I don't care.
