Er...what's that about the Scolari case? Why would I have to eat humble pie about that? I can't remember ever questioning Nicko about Scolari.

Oh, and just in case you need a history lesson, I believe Nicko said the following about the Chelsea job:

- It's either Scolari or Hughes (kudos to him for getting it right first time - if only he'd stopped there)

- Scolari's out, it's definitely Hughes

- Hughes has gone to City, it's now anyone's

- It could be Spaletti (sp?)

- It's Scolari, I was right all along!!

Did I miss anyone out?

No but you distorted the truth. Nicko repeated numerous times that Scolari was still a live runner both before Hughes took it and after Hughes took it.
