T4E Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 This is better than Hatton v Maywether !! Only less competitive. I don't understand why Davies has come in on Betfair so much.........

nicko Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Only less competitive. I don't understand why Davies has come in on Betfair so much......... He has a large family?
broadsword Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 'Course he has. My moan has always been consistent. You seem to be getting confused with someone else's moan. Old age? What are you moaning about then? I thought you were moaning about Nicko making a profit off of giving Rovers fans false leads? So how does it work then? Nicko rings the head of Betfair, asks him if he wants to make a few bob, tells him to stick Ten Cate on list of future Blackburn managers at odds too good to turn down, then splits the amount of money? I really cannot see that happening.
nicko Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 I'd love to ask everyone to keep it on topic but as there really isn't a topic to this thread it's not that easy. So I'll just ask you both to stop the sniping. Thanks Ricky Fine by me. I don't want you calling in the RSPCA.

Head Rover Heels Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Only less competitive. I don't understand why Davies has come in on Betfair so much......... Posted a link in the "links" thread - William Hill have announced odd betting patterns from Scotland on him.
nicko Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 edit It's happened with Billy before. I won't say any more than that. But if you could get a Next Hearts Manager bet?
broadsword Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 WHOOOOSSSSHHHHH!!!!!! Instead of being a self-satisfied donut, why don't you explain? I think you're running out of hiding places and have resorted to being catty about things, because nothing you say adds up at all.

I think you're running out of hiding places and have resorted to being catty about things, because nothing you say adds up at all. The irony of YOU calling ME a "self-satisfied donut" is just priceless. And you can think what you like Bryan. As for what I say adding up, well I've explained it all in the past. I won't repeat it again as I don't want to get the site into trouble. If you can't work it out then there's not much I can do.

Hi Mack Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 i know the wally with the brolly has been interviewed but who else has been confirmed to have been invited for an interview?BFS HTC Davies?etc Also where the hell was Bentley when he did that interview yesterday?
Tim Southampton Rover Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 An interesting 'line' although it is unconfirmed. McClaren plans to bring in an ex-Rovers as part of his management team, sounds like a wise move. I don't know if it was brought up at today's interview, I wasn't inside or even outside for that matter [ ] but I presume it was raised. Quite a clever idea...although I don't know who that could be. Could it be a certain Tony Parkes? I don't know many other people who know the club inside out like he does.

Faz is a good shout, I am also hearing Rob Kelly's name has been mentioned. Maybe both! I have to stress again this is just talk from those close to McClaren.
Hughesy Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Any ideas on how those 3 interviewed have done so far?
Hi Mack Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 i couldnt give a monkies if he brought alan shearer with him! i dont want him!end of!i really hope JW i the man i think he is!he cant appoint mcClaren its suicide the fans wont want him the players wont and every team we play will bring 1000s of bloody brollys!
ABBEY Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 not been on for a few days ,but after seeing sky sports and the interview that maccaknobbrollypenishead is getting then im ready to stop going. After nearly 40 years a season ticket holder and seeing us in the third div etc and seeing that idiot has got an interview then i could be a broken fan .Do the board not realise he ruined our summer and that a LOT of people will hand tickets back if they appoint him.I would go to his first game and glue my ticket to a brolly and leave it on the pitch and cancel my direct debit.lardadyce or macca ..shudders
bringdunnback Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 What thee interviews, I thought it was just McClaren
nicko Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 A minor detail on why Chelsea want to stop Ten Cate working in England. This is from one of my moles around that way. The high-ups see this in a three-fold way... ONE - to save themselves some money on Ten Cate who was brought in on a big contract from Ajax and then bumped. Their refusal to settle the full amount with him also applies to his Panathinaikos option. He has been told he will get a settlement of a sort if he goes to Greece, but NOT if he stays in England. TWO - some of those within the club who pushed for Ten Cate to be appointed and then stay would score brownie points if he did well on their doorstep...one guy in particular. THREE - they are just awkward tw@ts.
