Alanf Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 I'd stick with the cream egg. That a clue.............?

nicko Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 But there's the eggs themselves, the dairy milk creme egg bar, the creme egg twisted bar. Oh the pressure! No, the traditional is the best. Just heard Shoot magazine has shut...a moment's silence please.
my_name_is_Earl Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 I still can't get my head round all this. If Nicko says he is so bad then why on earth would we even look at his CV let alone go to Europe and interview him. Let the lazy fu**er come to us if he wants the job! Ten Cate's Blue White Army. I think a little protest should persuade the board? 100% agree. Whoever this is, he cant be that bad! And for us to waste precious pennies on a flight into Europe......hmmm....I think hes gone on a pilgrimage to find the answer, but were to?
brfcshabba Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 No, the traditional is the best. Just heard Shoot magazine has shut...a moment's silence please. Match was far better than shoot
Blue n White Rover Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 No, the traditional is the best. Just heard Shoot magazine has shut...a moment's silence please. Good, the ba****ds never had a Rovers player on thier front cover so I never bought it
Mc Love Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 I have a SHOOT annual with Andy Cole in Newcastle kit on the front somewhere at home!
1864roverite Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Why dont some of you wait until the club makes an announcement ? It sounds like some of you should move to Bridgend. Some of you need to attend the next Gamblers addiction club. Some of the guess work is truly awful. Some of the speculation is taking years off members lives. Poor Nicko is dodging more questions than Ronaldo is fielding about his impending move to Spain. We all have Rovers at heart and I am sure we all think that JW will appoint the right man for the job. Its a top job that is available, there are good players, great facilities and the earths your oyster. Sleep well tonight Roverites, I do believe that come Friday afternoon we will all be speculating on how the opening games are going to pan out and to whom we are going to sign as additions to our team.
nicko Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Match was far better than shoot I preferred Goal but I am showing my age. Mind you, I will still look out my League Ladders soon if I can find them.
my_name_is_Earl Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Interesting question, now that we know Shearer was first choice, do you think he would have been better than the assumed current shortlist? bearing in mind his lack of experience, potential departure to Newcastle etc.
nicko Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Interesting question, now that we know Shearer was first choice, do you think he would have been better than the assumed current shortlist? bearing in mind his lack of experience, potential departure to Newcastle etc. No, he bottled the decision. That makes him a non-runner in my view.
my_name_is_Earl Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 No, he bottled the decision. That makes him a non-runner in my view. who would be your choice out of this bunch assuming you know only the names that we do at this current point in time?
mjs Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Mind you, I will still look out my League Ladders soon if I can find them. I used to love the league ladders and did them religiously every week. Somehow Rovers always ended up at the top of the league though!!
Torgeir Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 My money is on Alan Partridge. Liquid football is coming to town
Iceman Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Nicko,in all seriousness what is the hold up in appointing a new manager?if jw,wants a local guy,he would appoint one.it doesnt make any sense to fly all over, having perhaps already decided on either bfs, mcclaren or ince.
BRFC1995 Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Figured out who is so bad there name cannot be said....don't know why you'd have to fly to see him...O'DREARY
BlueMonday Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 AZURI look at my post No. 8951 I was commenting on Nicko's alleged lead, and his run around today. We ALREADY know SSN talk boll@cks.
Hi Mack Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Nicko,in all seriousness what is the hold up in appointing a new manager?if jw,wants a local guy,he would appoint one.it doesnt make any sense to fly all over, having perhaps already decided on either bfs, mcclaren or ince. Stroke Boy is currently on holiday!Did JW get on the plane to see him? Joking aside he would be fairly high up on my list above ince and McClaren!
Iceman Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 As far as im concerned, get whoever in.get the season started, survive the season and then start a new mangers thread again.maybe ask nicko to fly to barbados and ask if brian lara is available.
Paul Mellelieu Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Maybe we could have a poll of the Board member who would make the best manager and put his, or her, name forward to the club.
Fife Rover Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Graham Souness? With all the depressing news just now and the way things seem to be heading I think I would welcome Souness back with open arms just now!
