bazza Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Joking over from me. I have a feeling it may be someone like Paul Scholes. Maybe not him exactly but someone of a similar age and calibre.

BRFC1995 Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Pavleuchenko that'd fall into the amazing bracket! huntelaar, villa, ....it's gonna have to be one hell of a player to counted as amazing
Plastic Head Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 I have got to say I am very rarely amazed by transfers any more. But when you find out who is coming to Rovers tomorrow you may well keel over. No more details. Get your Daily Mirror. It's an exclusive and it is quite, quite astonishing. I can't wait to find out the reaction. I am saying no more. I must have a strong drink. George Oghani?

thenodrog Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 We need a right back. It must be Lucas Neil from West Ham United. Could be that Lucas Neils made so much money out of his much criticised move to WHU that he has enough to now buy out BRFC off the Walker trust. He has revealed that that was his intention all along and the reason that he rejected the Mickey mousers. His first move to reward the fans will be to issue free season tickets on 3 sides of the ground ......... and double the price on the Bburn End to cover the cost.
T4E Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Joking over from me. I have a feeling it may be someone like Paul Scholes. Maybe not him exactly but someone of a similar age and calibre. I doubt Nicko would have described that as astonishing, bearing in mind he said earlier this summer that it wouldnt surprise him if we went in for Gigge or Scholes. Albeit that was when Hughes was here. For it to be a huge shocker, I dont think it could be anyone with previous links to the management. The Lucas Neill suggestion worries me.
alexanders Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 It has to be someone very shocking like Nicko said. Humm, who can that be? I am just dropping some names here: AT: Alquilani, Palladino, Diego from Werder, Affelay, Umit Korkmaz, Zabaleta, Quaresma, Srna, Maloney, Hugo Viana, Altintop, Ezquerro, Maxi Rodriguez, Cassano, Luiz Jimenez.
j166429 Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Does it slink out of the gaol tomorrow? that's what I'm worried about.
hawkiiz Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 that's what I'm worried about. he is in for another month
doctorryan Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 His first move to reward the fans will be to issue free season tickets on 3 sides of the ground ......... and double the price on the Bburn End to cover the cost. Credit where credit is due.

Looks like a bid has been lodged, accepted, and the player is meeting Blackburn tomorrow? Or are we talking about a freebie ? Re-reading the post several times makes me worry, it's astonishing and something someone will react strongly to? Off to bed.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Anyone with less talent than Pele goalscoring record, Best's dribbling skills, Maradona's hand and Alexi Lalas' beard...then i'll be very disappointed.
Exiled_Rover Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 It has to be someone very shocking like Nicko said. Humm, who can that be? I am just dropping some names here: AT: Alquilani, Palladino, Diego from Werder, Affelay, Umit Korkmaz, Zabaleta, Quaresma, Srna, Maloney, Hugo Viana, Altintop, It's Alan Shearer, he fancies another go at playing.
Hughesy Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Anelka? Gudjohnsen? Xavi? Fat Ronaldo? Gattuso? Sissoko? Who knows!
LeChuck Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Has Nicko actually said it is a player? Could easily be a new addition to the staff.
alexanders Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 I am off to bed too. The faster I will know this name the better my life will be (here's me hoping)
