I thought the way Nicko worded it - i.e. he heard an hour ago and is still shaking etc. sounded like it was a coup for the club. We shall see.

Funny, I thought the wording made it sound like it was going to be The Horror Signing To End All Horror Signings.

I dearly, dearly hope I'm wrong.

Oh for some good news.

Blackburn boss Paul Ince is chasing £6millionrated Ecuadorian midfield ace Segundo Castillo in his first big transfer deal.

The powerful South American (above) plays for Red Star Belgrade in Serbia but is keen on a move to England.

Just been ont mirror website. Not sure if this if yesterdays news or the one Nicko`s referring to?

Yesterdays

what if its that midfielder from mk dons we were linked with?

forgotten the name but the fact nicko added i need a strong drink does not fill me full of confidence about this. i think we could be in for a bad surprise tomoro.

i think Nicko was merely expressing his suprise at the player we are apparently signing, i think it was all positive.

Cmon Podolski! Should be pretty easy to sign him. I'll buy the brown sack and rope, someone hire a torturer.

About all this Friedel thing. If Ince sells him he'll instantly lose a horrendous amount of respect from the fans. Surely the club will know this? I'd be highly suprised is Williams will allow the deal to take place, he'll know the impact the sale will have on Ince's popularity and i think that it more important to the club at the moment than 1.5 million quid. Friedel will be here at the start of the season... If not, i'll personally cut Paul Ince.

they were just doing the back pages on SSN and they had an express on the table! it felt so cose but so far. i was screaming at the TV for them to open it, but oh no, Ronaldo saying he's a slave is MUCH more important.

EDIT: ok, its going to be in the mirror, i feel ok then

I have got to say I am very rarely amazed by transfers any more.

But when you find out who is coming to Rovers tomorrow you may well keel over.

No more details.

Get your Daily Mirror.

It's an exclusive and it is quite, quite astonishing.

I can't wait to find out the reaction.

I am saying no more. I must have a strong drink.

Well I think I have worked it out, hope im wrong.

"you may well KEEL over"

George BOATeng

although from wiki

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Boateng

Hull City announced on 10 July 2008 that Boateng had agreed to sign a contract with them, and is expected to do so on successful completion of an imminent medical test.

Nothing against the fella but I would like to think we can get better.

FFS, before you start dishing out threats of GBH please provide any proof Ince (or the club ) want to sell Friedel.

shut up mate.

what did i say in my post. FRIEDEL WILL BE HERE AT THE START OF THE SEASON. read my post properly, get a sense of humour (unless you honestly believe i'm going to stroll across the pitch on the first say of the season and knife Ince) and then post a reply.

Hah, good work.

Although it's never going to be Boateng, there is nothing astonishing, astounding or even mildly surprising about the signing of George Boateng, it's going to have to be more eyebrow raising than that.
