Ricky Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 It's hard to keep up with you constantly changing the story until you are right. Jo is signing for City. City can't afford Jo, so they won't get him. He signed - see, I was right. Spot on.

67splitscreen Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Sadly of late they have taken to lifting things almost word for word from dodgy rumour websites like Tribal football and nationals - not just poor information but very lazy journalism...we can all cut and paste and stick our name on the top. Not with regard to JW's quotes on Let today. All other sites posted after LET's post,s FACT
John Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 tribalfootball takes its stories from the newspapers and local press.
nicko Posted July 12, 2008 Author Posted July 12, 2008 nicko.. just wondering if theres anything in the jermaine pennant to blackburn rumour?? i quite like him, and think he would be a good replacement for bentley.. you know this castillo-do you happen to know what his english is like by any chance??? I don't think Pennant is right. They are looking at someone else for that position - if Bentley leaves and Emerton does not impress. Castillo's English will be good enough to say 'give us a deal, fettler.'
nicko Posted July 12, 2008 Author Posted July 12, 2008 It's hard to keep up with you constantly changing the story until you are right. Jo is signing for City. City can't afford Jo, so they won't get him. He signed - see, I was right. Man City signed Jo - on their terms, based on payments over several years. If you want to check the first news and unfolding news on Jo feel free to check the Daily Mirror library.
thenodrog Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 The more reliable LET is a total waste of space. Always behind with the news and some aspects of the club - like reserve team reports are often totally ignored. As a source of Rovers news the LET is the last place to look! C'mon parsonblue. In fairness a newspaper will never be able to get news out as fast as the internet. It's like the Pony Express v a fax machine. BUT a Sunday paper like the People and NotW can only ever be as up to speed as the LT for just one day in the week.
Mozzer Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 american..is nicko really constantly changing his storys tho? i think hes just reporting what he knows-and what is happening at that time..ok things may change, but in football things do..

thenodrog Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 By the way, on Theno's Golf Club scoop on Brad last Sunday. Wonder if his mole had actually read this in a paper just a few hours before? http://www.sundaymirror.co.uk/sport/footba...98487-20634163/ I don't think that my source would have ever read the sunday mirror... but I suppose one never knows what goes on behind closed doors. But it's quite obvious that you didn't read it either Alan.
1864roverite Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Nicko, is this in the paper!? well I have asked mrs Roverite if I can have a £1.50 sub for tomorrow morning to lower myself to buying the mirror again (god how I hate looking like a labourite scumbag in the papershop), however on the upside, I have corked myself ready to curl a big one down the pan as I am gonna wipe my backside again on the tripe printed in the rag
thenodrog Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 :D:D I think that's the funniest post I've ever read.... Thanks. No doubt Jans having a lie down with a cold compress firmly clamped to her forehead. There's lots of hilarious stuff on here too American ... http://www.brfcs.co.uk/mb/index.php?showtopic=18968&st=0 but unfortunately only for the knuckle draggers down the road!
Blue n White Rover Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I don't know if this has been answered before but can anyone confirm that Ince will be getting the compensation money we got for Sparky to spend in the transfer market? If he does then I would make that at least £17-18 million to spend this summer?
RibbleValleyRover Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Could be worrying if true: Arsenal 'drop Adebayor price tag'
brian_gallagher85 Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 well I have asked mrs Roverite if I can have a £1.50 sub for tomorrow morning to lower myself to buying the mirror again (god how I hate looking like a labourite scumbag in the papershop), however on the upside, I have corked myself ready to curl a big one down the pan as I am gonna wipe my backside again on the tripe printed in the rag The People (I know they're technically the same paper...although the Sunday Mirror just reprints the Saturday ones reports and badly!)
USA Rover Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Add to that income from his soccer school His soccer school is non-profit. The kids that play don't pay anything. Jan Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Alternatively, expanding that theme, YOU come out of the shower towelling your hair and walk into the bedroom to find Graeme Souness lolling across your silk sheets with a hungry look in his eyes is and a lump in his pyjama bottoms ........ ! ......................I calmly walk over, stab him in the heart, cut off the offending piece of anatomy and stuff it down his throat. Sounds like a GOOD fantasy with the proper ending now. On an even more distateful note, I see Tris "oooh is no-one paying attention to me now" and the Trisettes are on again.
des Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I know I might be a bit think, but brad as two years left on his deal at rovers, so if he goes it will only be if the club wants it.
John Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Brad would never want to leave, even if there was a better deal on the table elsewhere. See link below Friedel grabs new deal with both hands: 'This is my club and I have a special affinity with it'
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Brad would never want to leave, even if there was a better deal on the table elsewhere. It looks like we'll have to keep believing that John until Brad himself comes out and quashes this latest rumour once and for all. Here's hoping to god....................
John Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Reading between the lines and also the LET article today, possibly I am underestimating the lure of Hughes/cash potentially for Brad. Ah well, just have to wait and see I guess.......
