Anyone, no if there is any truth in this.

I know it's not the positions we need to strengthen or believed to be what Ince is looking at, but after the last couple of days, Who knows.

Thorstein Helstad. Blackburn is ready make an offer to Brann Bergen.

He will cost them aprox. £1.5 million punds.

Helstad is also at personal friend of Morten Gamst Pedersen who is already playing for Blackburn.

Just thought not the usual player rumour linked with rovers.

So maybe someone on here, has a little more insight than little old me.

Hope it don't give anyone a sleepless night.

This bloke took a team 7,048 points behind at the very bottom tier of English footbal and saved them in half a season. He then took a team who had been relegated every season for the past 400 years or something and got 'em promoted an won em a cup.

Cut him some slack, what do you need to be a natural manager? And how do you prove it?!

Impressive.

Confidence is a key thing, Ince doesn't seem to have it, he just makes bad jokes about relegation, just like those coaching badges which are requirements.

I hope Ince does a fantastic job and proves me wrong but it's not been the best start ever, media wise.

Helstad has an impressive scoring record, although he is 31. Would rather have him at the club then Fowler though!

Would prefer Boulahrouz to Juliano Belletti...

Would i be right in thinking that if he joined Rovers he would be the first Brazillian to ever play for the club?

Just found this on RoversMAD about Friedel: http://www.blackburnrovers-mad.co.uk/news/...W&id=397538

Just found this which i hope is true about Friedel: http://www.eatsleepsport.com/blackburn-rov...ers-757362.html

Found it on the web, but not sure if the source is any good.

Could be embarrassing, if you know what I mean.:wstu:

Since found out he signed a 3 year contract in 2006.

Say's he's happy at Bergen, still so does Brad.

He's the undisputed top striker in the Norwegian leagues right now. Can't stop scoring pretty much. Played better last season than this but is still top scorer so far. SK Brann want to keep him, he's very happy here. This is the club here in Norway where he feels at home. However, at the moment he is wanting more money to sign a new contract than the club is willing to pay. They are still talking about this but the club is not worried since there is no pressing concern to resign him just yet. Still plenty of time. He's in his early 30s now but if a good foreign club came in for him, he'd be interested in a possible last move abroad.

All that said, there have been NO stories anywhere linking Helstad to Rovers or indeed any other club. None. The big, main story floating around right now is about his injured knee and whether he'll pass a fitness test to play the Monday night game.

this summer has turned into a joke, every player we are linked with is garbage. The names we are linked with are normally associated with the likes of sunderland and hull and the richer championship clubs. Why are we being linked with strikers, we've got 4, its not even remotely a priority. Fowler and mcfadden? seriously if they are never good enough to play why put them on the wagebill.

taking bentley, brad, and roque out of our team is frightening---as the rest of the team is, taking my blinkers off, nothing special....next season could be shocking. IF THEY ARE UNDER CONTRACT DO NOT SELL!!!!!!!!!

Contrasting views on Castillo..

# Milos Belgrade He definitely wont get a chance in Juventus, i realy doubt also that he will play in Blackburn also so grab the money and sit on the bench.

mj belgrade/serbia thank you for all you have done playing for red star and good luck where ever u go and i must say far the best buy in the last ten years for red star FORZZA STELLA ROSSA

Sorry that's nonsense, everyone has a right to an opinion but you're just making stuff up here. If next seasons league table was done off the confidence of the manager we'd be champions league easily. Of all the ex Man U players from under Fergie, it was Hughes that was seen as the least likely to be a manager as he was very quiet and didn't mix with the other players vey much.

If anything it seems over-confidence is a criticism some are levelling at Ince and they are expecting him to be brash and kick some backsides. The evidence from interviews done by his players would suggest otherwisem that he exhudes a quiet confidence and instills it in his players.

As far as I know, DiMaria has NOT yet had a Full side callup. He upped and left Rosario Central right with 3-4 matches left in the 2007 season.

When the U21's (?) won the last tournament in Canada, he was promptly purchased by the Portugeezers.

I'm surprised that Benfica has made him available. While I love Joaquin to pieces, DiMaria (built like Derbyshire, greater talent) has a bigger future compared to the spaniard. IMO -- whether it's the relatively poor sides at Valencia or Real Betis it appears to me that Joaquin has jaded.

Thats more like it about JOAQUIN. He has gone off the boil last two seasons but he has definite class, pace and trickery. Has to rediscover it though. Cant see him costing that much. More like half of that.

About Robinson, Id prefer Cudicini if Friedel leaves. Question is would he have left had Hughes been here?

It's hard to take anything concrete at all out of the Nicko-Brad story. It reads like political mish-mash written by a committee, which if you check the bottom of the article, appears to be the case. Not to be revisiting the "Duff Days" of July 2003, but I think we'll breath easier come Tuesday if whatever has to happen happens with regards to Rovers making sure Brad is on the plane to Germany, after having appeared against Macclesfield of course.
