John Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Darkness very complementary about us and Ince. Can't explain all the feelings that you're making me feel My heart's in overdrive and you're behind the steering wheel Touching you, touching me touching you, god you're touching me

allrovertheworld Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 He was correct and is still correct. So he signed for Liverpool who are a first rate team. Like it or not. Good point but I think its more to do with the fact that he didn't have to say that. That was as a player when he was younger and we all say and do stupid things I know I have. It won't reflect on his ability to manage our club.

John Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Yes, spoke just after the hour. Said a lot happened today and things were done quickly - nothing but praise for us and he thinks Ince will go on to do great things with BRFC.
Zulu Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Meanwhile, Paddy Power trousers £20 of my hard-earned cash. @#/?!
brfcshabba Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Im sorry but whos darkness. Peter Winkleman MK Dons Chairman Seems a decent guy
cn_barlow Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Im sorry but whos darkness. I believe they are a rather turd band from a few years ago...
disgruntled Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 The MK Dons chairman was very complimentary about us and I thought he came across in the interview very well indeed. I bet he wasn't out dancing on a friday night though.
Paul Mellelieu Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 When your milestone has to contain several adjectives to make it unique, it's usually a good indication that it's not that much of a milestone afterall... Biggus laddus, smallus brainus.
riverside returns Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Well as a rather rare addition to the messsage board I would like to say that I for one will be 110% behind Ince as the club abd the team come before ancient idiotic comments made over a decade ago. If you are a Rovers fan through and through, jsut do what we always do and get behind the team and the manager....... One Rovers !!!!
Alex Rover Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Biggus laddus, smallus brainus. He has a wife you know.....

Ince may have his knockers, but is it just me or is he growing on me, These puns seemed like a good idea at the time, but we dont want the thread stuck in a rut.
Hasta Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 I have to say that the 'first black British manager to manage in the premiership' tag does seem a bit pointless, especially in this day and age. What next - first black manager to win a game at Old Trafford , first black british manager to be sent to the stands. Does any of it really make a blind bit of difference ?? The real story should be that it's the first time a Premiership club has plucked a manager from the botom division and given him a chance. The West Ham away game early in the season should be interesting. I bet that now become our first 'sky' game

Even the Torygraph has clocked it http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtm...pioneers122.xml
Hi Mack Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Nicko any news on Paul Ince is looking at bringing in and has he talked to anyone about coming to Blackburn? Only kidding!!!!
John Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Slightly scary that Ince potentially, with the likely sale of Bentley, could have around £30 million to spend!!
rovers1993 Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 nicko any news on the takeover front? or who incey is going to sell/buy?
RibbleValleyRover Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Slightly scary that Ince potentially, with the likely sale of Bentley, could have around £30 million to spend!! You honestly think he would be given anywhere near that amount of money? The media seems to think Ince will have no money unless he sells Bents and Roque. If that is the case what has happened to the £10 million that Hughes was supposedly going to spend this summer?
John Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Sorry, madness, he would not be given £30 million. Neil Warnock was hardly enthusiastic about the Ince's appointment just now on SSN. Said who knows if this has come too soon for him. Also said that he is not surprised that he has been appointed, considering the other candidates!
