I imagine they're almost all set to expire in the summer transfer window. Presumably the start as there's not much to be gained from hanging on to a player for a few extra weeks.

Thanks Simon. Any idea on where to find listings for players who's contracts are up or will be this summer transfer window?

with ince the new manager-and us looking for a new central midfielder- no doubt in the next couple of days we will be linked with Seyi Olofinjana of wolves..

Well I will throw my first post on the boards.. :)

Although suprising I really think the ince move could be another master stroke from JW, although Ince only managed in the lower leagues you can hardly say that he did a bad job... he certainly was hungrier than anyone else for the job.. has pretty good motivation skills judging by his early mangement experiences and as england captain..

I do hope he gets a little of the cash that was available to Hughs.. but who knows.

Anyone know what "Fat Sam" was refering too on Sky sports news? He said he droped out of the race for the job when "Something happened" a couple of days after his interview with blackburn..

I know where he lives and the big fat lump pulled out, there is nothing on offer for him. next weekend as I stay in the house directly behind him I will be looking for him Sunday morning after a shed full of ale and be ready to let the dog poo on his manicured lawn as well as singing him some nice east lancs abuse.

Sparky took the whole lot with him - bar Hodges.

I've heard that he's well ###### off about that. City won the youth Cup I think so he's having to stay here for the time being.

Now this is well funny if it really is true. In fact hilarious and worthy of messageboard gold 22 carat.

I've been told this evening that Paul Ince missed his FA appointment in Wales because he was playing golf in Portugal! :o:lol:

Alan I'm digging at this still but could you possibly check this out?
