As it's a bit quiet on the transfer front at our place, is there any movement at Newcastle?

The natives are getting a bit restless.

There seems to be a lot of people giving up there season tickets at the moment, after the prices went up, but no signings as of yet.

Hopefully they won't improve much and stay below us.

Ince has to do B, A and Pro in 2 and half years! That sounds like a hefty workload and I hope it won't affect his ability to do all his job roles.

1.25 million per annum for 4 hours 4 days per week at Brockhall and another 4 hours on Saturday afternoons! I think we have EVERY right to insist that he does em at nightschool.

I've not heard of anyone giving up their tickets, well no more than you usually get when people give them up because of finances or work commitments.

Not much gossip gets out about Newcastle since the change of owner, before then Freddie Shepherd was feeding Alan Oliver from the local press everything but he's getting nothing now, in the Chronicle on Monday he had Keegan targeting Lennon and the day after he said he wasn't interested in him anymore, he's pretty clueless now.

The only news that's come out in who they're interested in is Arda from Turkey, they've made a move for Arshavin too according to reports in Russia but I think he's played his way to a bigger club over the past 2 weeks, apart from that they were linked with the Swiss striker Derdiyok today.

Richard Money has taken the job as director of their academy and fat Freddie Shepherd is in talks to sign Real Mallorca.

I personally know about 10 that have given them up, most who have had them for 5-10 years, plus people mentioning mates at work doing the same.

Come on Sparky Marky, lets not go down this road again with Nicko - if you don't believe or accept what Nicko's wrote you are of course fully entitled to do so - like we all are. You do not even have to read what Nicko writes.

There are a number of things people write on this board, wiether it is a question for Nicko - or an opinion on something that some or all of us won't agree with - so be it. But I do not believe that this board is a place to through insults around. That's the merry go round that is the managerial picking experience. You go through the list and interview people, everytime you interview one it is leaked out and they are the man getting the job. Next minute it's the next one.

I'm sure there's plenty going on that journo's know nothing about, they get little snippets and 2 + 2 = 5 in some instances.

Plus JW is very good at keeping things under wraps, professionalism i think it is called, so journo's have to write something.

I'm happy getting the gossip from Nicko, it'll never be 100% as it is just like reading a paper but it's better than before when we had nothing.

Me too, and well said modes. But I think what puts peoples teeth on edge is the growing army of cringeworthy Nicko sycophants. I know most are schoolboys but they aggravate me no end and I wonder how or why he puts up with them.

I must admit some people do ask Nicko some, er shall we say, strange questions. Whcih anybody else reading them would wonder how they would expect Nicko to answer that one. But if we know it is young school boys - we just have to say that the kids wil play and ignore. Hopefully these schoolboys will grow up - one day - soon - we hope - sadly we have to tolerate them until that day comes.

Ince got the job in the end after an interview process that you were virtually talked and walked through.
