If the news about Beamish is true it will be sad. Whilst I cannot accurately comment about how he did at his job, he has been very welcoming to me in the past and is a decent man.

Last time I saw him, he seemed fed up with some of the chores he had to do.

For heaven's sake John it was a joke!

How outlandish does a post have to be before someone doesn't treat it as gospel?

As working at the moment, on the blackberry, so ran through this thread as quickly as possible! My sincere apologies for not picking up on the joke (really funny by the way), but someone did tell me last week that he may change roles within the club.

I was just going to add - and we are going to be allowed to see the new home and away kits in their entirety...............................

No, all next season the players will be carrying placards in front of their shirts! :P

Interesting part at the bottom about the possible takeover, stating that 1 phone call could change the future of the club, although LET think nowt is in the offing yet.

If you didn't know better you would say people looked on here before writing their tales... ;)

Yet another pop at the local paper. Totally uncalled for. And becoming repetitive.

I will suggest it is obvious that somebody from the LET has been coming onto this site. There is no other ' recent ' link in any media about a takeover of rovers. when I say recent, I mean in the past week. The only place it has seriously been commented about is on this site - people often probing Nicko etc. Others making up childish ' I heard stories '. So where else have they got their stories from - I do not believe that they have a ' high ranking source at Rovers ' even though they claim to do so.

So how on earth has the LET reported Rovers / football stories for the past 10-20-30-40-50-60 years then?
