Opinions are fine, of course they are, but the problem is that Ince has been up against it from day one and this kind of talk really doesn't help with regard to the general feeling towards him. I dread to think what will happen if we lose our first couple of games if this is what the mood is like now.

Clearly some people are happy about Ince being here and some aren't, a fact which seems to influence their views on each and every decision he makes, for and against.

However, given that we are all fans on here and we want our club to do well, why can people not adopt the attitude of "Okay I don't agree with what he did there but lets back him and see".

We get annoyed when the media casts us in a bad light, so why cause unrest amongst ourselves?

Im not saying Ince will be a success. I think he will, but lets get behind him and see.

I understand that some people are genetically predisposed to moan, I think it is a bit of a Blackburn thing anyway, but why not pick on someone like Gordon Brown to vent your frustration on for the time being, he had his chance and blew it, Ince deserves a fair go at things...

I think some people are getting touchy about the situation, it seems to be more of a "don't criticise Ince whatever he does syndrome. [Don't mean you in particular].

I'm not going to say that I think it's the right thing for us to do - selling our best players, when I don't think it is.

Nor am I against everything Ince is doing, just because I didn't want him as manager. TBH, I think I'm in a minority in believing that giving Fowler a run out is ridiculous. If he's fit enough, it's a great move by Ince. So it isn't an anti-Ince thing.

This whole Messageboard is full of people who simply want to put Ince down and are looking for any excuse to do so.

Maybe that's because he's rubbish?

Den is spot on with this one.

I didn't want the guy either but I'm prepared to judge him on what he does in the job. Up to now I'm not impressed. I think Ince and his management team are out of their depth at the moment, other teams have sensed this and are moving in like vultures. It's either sink or swim for our club at the moment. I know Brad was always going to hit the wall one day, but I also thought that given the upheaval a new management team would bring we would do our damndest to keep things on an even keel and keep our senior professionals on the pitch. I would have taken the chance and kept our trojan in goal even he did only have one more season in him. For me Ince has failed his first massive test, as I've said before - he's a chancer, and he has really chanced his arm this time.

And what proof that he is rubbish? A miracle escape his first season? A title and a cup his second?

And Den is wrong, plus he conveniently ignored the point about only Brad having left so far.

We all deserve a chance and most of us have done things in the past that we regret.

Paul has yet to prove himself. No doubt many of you will be pleased if he fails to do so and so will be able to preen yourselves and say 'I told you so'.

Things that have happened since Paul signed for Rovers may or may not have been his 'fault'. Time will possibly tell, but we may never know - and do we need to?

Already we can see that Paul watches his players with utmost concentration when they are playing and he has already sussed out what needs to be done, now it is up to him to do it.

I'm not particularly happy about Fowler, I was devastated that Brad left. However, Robinson has come in, and I will support him. These things happen.

It's early days. Give the lad a chance.

We have to, we have no option.

But mum if you are looking for herd instincts and blind faith count me out. I'm still trying to work out just wtf has gone on at our club over the last 6 months to have got us where we are today.

Last year at this time I was looking forward to the new season with confidence and excitement. Now my mood is more of fear and trepidition.

Care to explain American? That's a pretty easy way to dis an opinion without giving any explanation.

Was you very excited when Mr Hughes 1st took over Drog. I am sick to death of people on here calling for Ince's head even before the season has started, give the guy a chance for god sake.

I was excited with Hughes coming in. He impressed me as Wales manager with his quietly intelligent synopses of the matches and tactical nous. Also in his first press conference he shone as a self-assured and knowleadgeable person. I have no such impressions about "the boy done good" Ince.

Have I called for his head? No! But no doubt when I do I'll be drowned out by the boos, whistles and V signs, from the Blackburn end 'faithful'.

your might not be calling for his head just yet, but u keep making rubbish remarks regard him. Give it a rest and wait to see how he handles the job for a couple months then you can give your verdict on him untill then will u shut up ffs.

we will all know if ince can cut it as a prem league manger in couple of months time, unitl then i wish these so called fans of the club got of the guys back and give him the support that he needs at this time.

I was excited when Hughes 1st came into job like i am now regarding Ince, but i was still a bit worried if hughes could make it as a prem manager, but i never once was getting on his back even before he got his mangerial career started at Rovers unlike what these numpties are doing regarding Ince.

I too was pleased with the Mark Hughes appointment but he too was an unproven talent at premiership level. He did a fantastic job with limited resources but.........some of the fare last season was cack!

Did you sit on the edge of your seat? Was the football exciting and attractive? Remember Birmingham?

Did you feel that Hughes had taken us as far as he could? I think he did......

We needed something new. I am in the minority, I think, who believe that Ince has the potential to take us that one step further. Yes he is a risk.......but if the alternative is BFS and Mclaren.......I would take it every day.

You are in a silent majority. Most intelligent, rational people knew that Hughes had taken us as far as we could go under him (Larissa, Coventry, Wigan, Birmingham etc. etc. etc.)

And anybody with a modicum of self respect would have hated the appointment of any of the useless premier league journeymen (Allardryce, McClaren).

Ince is going to do well, wether people (being kind!) on here like it or not!

Most intelligent, rational people would counter we were still moving forward under Hughes. More points and three places higher than the season before...you list Wigan and Birmingham but EVERY team has bad games in their league season, but you look at the season as a whole. We were hardly the only side to be knocked out early out of the FA cup either were we?

I'm not saying Ince will fail, but the mans only succeeded at a level much, much inferior to ours. His early moves havent exactly inspired confidence either.

I am in the wait and see brigade as I was with Souness and Hughes, I am reasonably optimistic and I can't see anything that Ince has done or not done to persuade me one way or another. I'll see how he does in the first half of this season and make my mind up as it goes along.

I was also of the opinion Hughes had taken almost as far as he could. We should have finished 6th but for a p*ss-poor showing at Birmingham and been in that lovely Intertoto competition... Funny thing is that I was of the opinion that Souness had peaked just before he left for that massive little club in the North East.
