American Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Going to Singapore in December for a wedding. Trying to talk the Mrs into making it a nice long vacation and adding Tokyo to the trip.
rosie Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Cote d'Azur, south of France for a fortnight in July/August. Putting the car on the train at Calais. Can't wait.
Wiggy Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Barbados, now. Waiting for our Peg to get ready for dinner. Missing you already Drog! I'll be ready for some proper ale in a couple of weeks Whittle.
vintageadidas Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Mexico - Week today! Riviera Maya, cannot wait!
Saltysellars Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Already had my two weeks at the beginning of June- All inclusive in Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. Nice and hot with a breeze to keep you cool. Every other football shirt out there was a Liverpool one but I was flying the flag with the Rovers away shirt and the Lancashire Lightning top as well.
rog of the rovers Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Just back from Florida for Rog. I'm sure a few people on here will be doing the same, if so and you go to EPCOT, look out for a guy in the Norweigan bit called Dag Erik. Got chatting to him, and when I asked if he was a fan of English football he told me he was a Rovers fan! TOP BLOKE Norway at EPCOT Another highlight was the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor at Magic Kingdom, extremely funny and tremendously clever. Hosted by Billy Crystal you will love it!

Laugh Floor at Magic Kingdom, extremely funny and tremendously clever. Hosted by Billy Crystal you will love it! Got back from Florida two weeks ago. Awesome place, second time in U.S in six months (went to New York at christmas), love the country. Went to Busch Gardens & Universal. Shei-kra at BG was unbelievable, wasn't in my plans to go on it, but my missus persuaded me. 200ft drop! Universal was great too, Simpsons ride was fantastic. Florida (USA really, as NYC was the same) is very cheap, PS3 games $40-50 approx & macy's practically give away designer clothes. Should I mention fuel too? 40p approx for a litre of Petrol!! If I could live there I would, not unpatriotic, but England is becoming unaffordable.

Eddie Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Right, because the American economy just keeps on getting better... Having my usual August break in Brittany. No other special trips planned at the moment.
rosie Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Whereabouts in Brittany do you go? We got rather wet there last year on some days, hence going further south. I loved it, but I want good weather.

No other special trips planned at the moment. I never mentioned the economy! Also, for £140,000 you can have a 3 bed house with a pool with sun, do we remember what that is, i have forgotten.
gazsimm Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 staying in Europe this year, just got back from Cyprus and then off to Crete in September. Planning to go to the far east again January/Febuary time
adopted scouser Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 They spent millions building Disneyland in Tokyo, then realised no-one was tall enough to go on the rides
Rover down South Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Florida is horrible. Why do you think that? I thought it was amazing. Good value, good food, endless activities & very friendly people. Whats not to like?
Eddie Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Yeah, if you go to Florida and experience the weather, little taste of America and a theme park you'll come away with a smile. Doesn't make it a good place to live though. apple bottom jeans

American Rover12 Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Just to be fair and add a little insight, not every place over here is the most magical place in the world. I love going to Florida and Disney too, but please don't think every where is nearly as nice. That'd be great if it was though.
