Ive just been debating this with a Dingle and he says it Ipswich,

where can i get the stats etc to prove otherwise?

:rover:

From Wiki: Ipswich won the English league title once, in 1961–62, and have been runners-up twice in 1980–81 and 1981–82. They won the FA Cup in 1977–78, and the UEFA Cup in 1980–81.

Whereas we: 1994-1995 Premiership Champions 1884,1885,1886,1890,1891,1928 FA Cup winners 1911-12, 1913-14 League division 1 (now Premier League) champions. 1993-94 Premier League runners-up

So the only way you could argue Ipswich have more success is in Europe. Domestically we have muc more success.

Long-term history we win hands-down. Very short term (last 15 years) we also win hands-down. Medium/short term they probably take it. So overall you'd have to go with us.

Is Ipswich not a city? although the football club has the name town.

I stand to be corrected

It's a town. And a less successful club than us by miles.
