Duff for Warnock? Why would we? For very good money maybe, but not a straight swap. Again Warnock is doing a good job, but he could be replaced without a doubt as he still has a tendancy to be out of position following an attack and sometimes gets caught out abit.

Cant see the point in Duff, watching the utube compliation of him, its clear that he scores his goals via pace and being on the shoulder of the last man - unfortunatly for him, with his injuries I think his pace has dropped alot and therefore is nowhere near the same player that left ewood. Id rather see Giggs before Duff at ewood.

Why not play him on the left and move MGP into the middle. Duff would be a good addition to the squad but first lets get a right back, replace Bentley and then we'll see.

Its's quite funny really how through all the speculation, only one player has left Ewood for a keeper who has the potential to be as good as Brad over a longer period of time. I remember the days of ignorance when I used to simply check the teletext for updates and the news was far easier to deal with. Nicko, has truly allowed for us to know whats going on behind the scenes, the only problem is that its quite scary really lol

it's the same every summer though isn't it? the only major outgoing in the past few summers (bar brad) was bellamy, and we did alright following that. true, that was under different management but we just have to believe that Ince and JW aren't just gonna roll over and let rival teams pick and choose our top players. it has been said many times now that we aren't in a position where we need to sell and as such if other teams want our players they WILL have to pay top dollar for them.

Lets not worry too much; no-one (else) is going any where yet.

True, but there's a difference to me.

Friedel, Warnock, Roque - not surplus to requirements, key players and haven't/didn't previously express a desire to leave so this was all very worrying.

Bentley - wanted to leave for a while - inevitable.

Dunn - IMO if we want to move up a level he's the type of player we'll want to replace anyway. He's just not what he was. If people want to bid maybe the opinion is the same inside the club too?

Why are we talking about getting rid of Sir David of Dunn when we still have the likes of Rigters, Peter and Mokoena. Given the choice, and the finances. I would transfer list these 3 players, and look at bringing in some others...

Do you have any idea through word of mouth how well Ince feels Robbie Fowler is doing on his trial?

Apart from a 1 to 1 he had with Benni yesterday, he has done absolutely nothing to even faguely interest yet.

Also, you said the other day that you doubted we had interest in Vasilis Torosidis, and just wondered whether you still think this true with the latest rumblings in the media...?

At this point, do you still think were going to sign a further 4-5 players?

Do you think Bentley will be playing for us come the start of the season? Or will he still be suffering with the same 'injury' thats kept him out of pre-season so far?

Last but not least, did the meeting with all the scouts etc take place in Portugal as you expected...?

The 5Mill quote is just a bargaining move, quoted because that's what they paid for him. They were willing to take 4Mill up front from Man City last season, so I'm sure we could get him for 4Mil or under.
