I can't see us accepting a deal that involves add-ons. We don't want to sell him, he has three years left, we have to pay a lump to Arsenal and we need to buy a replacement. It should be all cash or nothing.

Getting some bad feedback from the players that they arent very happy with Ince and his regime at this moment in time can you confirm or deny this, this isnt in the slightest positive news to build confidence for the coming season.

how much has the spurs fall out with man u and liverpool stalled the market Nicko?

It's holding things up for Spurs who know they are losing them and have to find replacements

Berbatov will go to Man U once Spurs have a replacement...which is potentially worrying although I have heard of no Spurs approach for Roque - yet.

Keane will go to Liverpool once they have a replacement...which looks like Arshavin.

Once Man U get Berbatov in they will move out Saha or maybe even Campbell, so it has a knock-on effect.

If Liverpool get Keane they will surely have to shift someone out...like Pennant. The Alonso-Barry issue has to be sorted too.

Players talk a lot...some moan, some are happy.

I would only start to worry if they all decided to go elsewhere...

players should show some respect and stop 'informing' others of how unhappy they are with Ince....we don't want a situation like at Southampton for example, where the players forced out the manager....that was a disgrace

Just shows how dim footballers are doesn't it? Bentley wants to go to Spurs but Spurs don't want to pay anything like the price. Now a bit of haggling i could take but if they'd made their interest clear from that long ago and still wouldn't cough up, I'd be thinking "Wage cut (probably) from what I could have had at Rovers, best players leaving and they can't be bothered to pay the price. Is this really where i want to go? But not David. He (possibly) feigns injury, avoids chances to get fit and throws his toys out of the pram to try to persuade them and us to do the deal.

I seem to remember, that at the same time we are in Portugal, there are a number of other English teams taking part in similar tournaments.

Bristol City, springs to mind, I think there was a distant post of yours going back way, mentioning there right back Orr.

Is he now off the radar.

Fulham have lost McBride and Kamara is badly injured. It is quite an expensive exercise, but I'm not criticisng them for spending. Johnson will score goals for them...

Orr is probably still on the list. Like I say, it's a long list and they haven't decided. Something will get done, but give them time to look at all of the options.

I would agree...that one is a puzzler.

I think this situation is undermining Ince's credibility - Santa Cruz, Roberts, Derbyshire, McCarthy etc. must be completely bewildered by the real need for this fat out of condition injury prone rehabilitation item. Can anyone tell me he adds something - just one thing - (apart from bulk) that he adds to the squad.

Can't wait for him score, then you'll be conspicuous by your absence.

Wind your neck in and give the guy a break, if he finds ten per cent of his form he'll still be ahead of the Cole's and Yorke's that have graced Ewood with their 'presence'.

Chimbonda undergoing his medical at Sunderland now - Looks like he is set to sign - what's the fee for him?

Also nice to see that Man Citys Benjani will miss the start of the season, and Jo will be at the olympics - they are getting desperate for a striker too!

Skysports.com understands Pascal Chimbonda is currently undergoing a medical at Sunderland ahead of signing a four-year deal.

Hopefull, this is done and dusted today/tommorow and hopefully spuds come back with an improve bid for bentely
