Berbatov will go to Man U once Spurs have a replacement...which is potentially worrying although I have heard of no Spurs approach for Roque - yet.

Not too worried about that one - we'll have until next summer to find a replacement since Tottenyawn spend ages putting a deal together.

Can't wait for him score, then you'll be conspicuous by your absence.

Wind your neck in and give the guy a break, if he finds ten per cent of his form he'll still be ahead of the Cole's and Yorke's that have graced Ewood with their 'presence'.

He won't though. And if he does anywhere near as Cole did when he first came it'd be a minor miracle. I know you have a bias but this is much too much...

To be fair since Robbie Fowler is going to cost us the footballing eqivalent of a packet of crisps we are in a win win situation. If he scores 4 goals all season and is on the pitch for a total of fifteen games that is a decent return.

If he is an absolute liability we have lost nothing.

At any rate he can take Rigters place in the squad and hopefully we can flog the DUtchman on.

I think that one day, this whole idea of taking top players on trial, who have agreed to join us, will back fire. Im not saying Castillo is a top player, but the guy does look a very good footballer, and if we going to mess it up, and he really turns out to be a good signing, then we will look really stupid. I can understand Fowler, but not this Castillo chap. Then again im having flashbacks Grabbi, and I change my mind on this whole trial thing

Nicko,

Getting some bad feedback from the players that they arent very happy with Ince and his regime at this moment in time can you confirm or deny this, this isnt in the slightest positive news to build confidence for the coming season.

And where has this "feedback" come from pray tell? If it was genuine you wouldn't need nicko to confirm or deny it.

Can the players not wait to ring you on their mobiles the minute they finish training in Austria?

We were in for Ahn Jung Hwan at one point and he refused to come on trial. Just shows what a high opinion these players have of themselves, maybe a tell-tale sign that they think they're bigger than the club and have a poor attitude. If the club/manager want a trial and they refuse, goodbye. We don't have the resources to take big risks on players.

If Fowler can get 12 premier league goals that'll move him into 3rd place of all time premier league goals behind Alan Shearer (260) & Andy Cole (187). Henry is 3rd at present (174) & Fowler 4th (163).

If he could do that we'd be the only team that the top three would of all played for.

Likely to happen?...........doubtful!!

Nicko, how long is the contract Villa are offering Brad? Sure you said 3 years, but a mate of mine said he read it was one year then they would replace him with Hennesey??

WARNOCK - I just get concerned when a club keeps at it...

TOTTENHAM - Yes, the Gang of Four or Three seem to be moving. Hopefully it is a good sign. It is also, I have to say, good business if Spurs have found someone to take their unwanted squad men.

Three seasons for Brad...Guzan in as his understudy if he gets a permit.

The Hennessey stuff isn't right.

Sorry AS can't agree - Cole was still very pacy at Ewood and helped us win a trophy - a much better than I though he was, Fowler isn't and won't - never come close to winning anything since he was forced out of scouseland (if you've got contacts there you'lll know the story). Yorke - fair enough - about the same mobility level as RW.

Comparing him to what we've got now and his affect on the managers credibility is my point.

If he scores I'll be here and over the moon but it won't make a ha'peth of different to my views on him. I'd much rather one/any of our current players was on the pitch and had done it. He doesn't deserve the chance.

why is warnock so weird? so toons bid for him.. its a compliment to him and rovers for being a good player, but he just recently said he WILL stay.

the ones we may lose this summer is bentley, brad, mokoena, and possibly santa, but i dont think thats very likely at all. we do NOT have to sell.

and i dont think the players have had time to get unsettled because of ince. if anything they miss sparky, but that they just have to deal with.

whats weird, is that they think they can price him away for £2-3 million which is a complete joke -_-

Also nice to see that Man Citys Benjani will miss the start of the season, and Jo will be at the olympics - they are getting desperate for a striker too!

Unless it prompts them to move in for Roque. An easy option for Sparky, I would have thought - if he can raise the dosh.

I doubt we'd let Warnock go but i don't know how Ince operates. Do you know where the Spurs three will be headed? Conflicting reports everywer. Also if Bentley does go to Spurs, is there any chance we could get SWP, Ince can surely have a word with Ian Wright.

How come Kabouls had the change of heart with Sunderland, thought he'd go Pompey.

I take is Malbranque isn't going to join them?

Sunderland have lots of money - firstly, to buy Kaboul and secondly give him a big contract. Portsmouth would have taken him on loan with a view...they have to buy a couple of other players firta and move more out.

Malbranque has some personal issues which mean he would rather stay closer to London. But you never know, Sunderland are throwing millions at these guys.

yeh id luv to see shaun wright phillips at rovers, on his day hes a world beater im sure rovers wouold be willing to pay £8-9million for him im bentley goes for £17-18m

Nicko, do you know if SWP has been mentioned as a possible target in the rovers camp, if rovers are to push up and challenge for the top 4-5 we need to bring players like him in

So Harry Redknapp was talking crap when he said Kaboul was off to Villa?

SWP's wages are too big for Rovers...mind you, a loan deal could work.

So Harry Redknapp was talking crap when he said Kaboul was off to Villa?

Harry had probably been told that by Kaboul's 'people' - I think Villa were sniffing but Sunderland's money is giving everyone else a problem.

And Sunderland haven't stopped with the Tottenham players either...

That's an 11 o'clocker plug, by the way.
