leftfooter Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Yes indeed. I am surprised though as lesbians are much more accepted in society than gays. Thought lesbians' are gay?

Iceman Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Can somebody please explain to me this. If Bents wants to play champions league footy, why does he want to go to Spurs. Am i missing something here, but Spurs are not in the champions league. And had they not won the league cup, they would not even have been in the Uefa cup.
broadsword Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Nah, if lesbians were gay they'd be men, but would they be gay anyw more as they'd be blokes interested in women? Life in the 21st Century.
islander200 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Nicko i have family in glasgow and they are telling me that scott brown will be playing for rovers next season?
USRoverME Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Well that's made everyone shut up. Well then lets bring that conversation up every day about this time when the typical 20 posts containing only "will there be an 11 o'clocker" or "I haven't read the last few pages, but what's the status of brad/bentley/robinson?" show up.
American Rover12 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Can somebody please explain to me this. If Bents wants to play champions league footy, why does he want to go to Spurs. Am i missing something here, but Spurs are not in the champions league. And had they not won the league cup, they would not even have been in the Uefa cup. Right but they're a bigger club. Obviously. (excuse me now as I use three smilies truly capture how I feel) Edit: Added quote. And Iceman Isn't stupid, Bents is; just to clarify.

nicko Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Nicko i have family in glasgow and they are telling me that scott brown will be playing for rovers next season? That would be Albion Rovers judging by his recent form in friendlies...
islander200 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 comone on mate, seriously hes a good player and wouldnt mind him, but were getting carlos villaneuva so why would we need him brown is not the same type player as villaneuva-brown is a box to box
LeChuck Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Can somebody please explain to me this. If Bents wants to play champions league footy, why does he want to go to Spurs. Am i missing something here, but Spurs are not in the champions league. And had they not won the league cup, they would not even have been in the Uefa cup. Urgh. I wrote it on the last page. He has never said he only wants to play in the Champion's League, he said "Champion's League or Europe". Spurs are in Europe.
chocky Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Can somebody please explain to me this. If Bents wants to play champions league footy, why does he want to go to Spurs. Am i missing something here, but Spurs are not in the champions league. And had they not won the league cup, they would not even have been in the Uefa cup. He changed his outlook almost immediately to "I want to play in Europe"...Well what will be will be..If he goes Rovers will go on regardless..
islander200 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 That would be Albion Rovers judging by his recent form in friendlies... so no truth
roversmum Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Well with any luck they won't be in Europe next year. And if justice is done, we will be, and Spurs will not. I would love it, just love it (have I heard that before?)
AndyC Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Urgh. I wrote it on the last page. He has never said he only wants to play in the Champion's League, he said "Champion's League or Europe". Spurs are in Europe. he started off saying champions league and al lthe stories at the end of the season were about him being ambitious and needing to play in the champs league. when no other clubs came in for him - he changed his tune to just europe.
nicko Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 so no truth I don't think so, but I will check. It's not a name I had heard of, but the way things are just now anything could pop up.
Ninja Boi Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Thought lesbians' are gay? Yes we are. And isnt this totally off topic.
Fife Rover Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 No we cannot blame him. Good luck to him, I hope it sets him up for life, he deserves it after his great service to us. Fully agree with that SR. I guess what most of us are actually feeling is a touch of nostalgia at the thought of losing our best keeper since WW2. Hopefully though Brad will have similar feelings for his time at Rovers and he won't just forget us. We can always hope that one day he may be back here in some capacity; coach, manager, owner even (well I can dream can't I ?).
DeadlyDirk Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Nicko, is it true that Joe Garner has now joined Forest. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...est/7526117.stm Pretty sure we have a large percentage of any sale which people discussed earlier, any idea of what the figure might be?
LeChuck Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Nicko, is it true that Joe Garner has now joined Forest. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...est/7526117.stm Pretty sure we have a large percentage of any sale which people discussed earlier, any idea of what the figure might be? Pretty sure I read 50% on here...but I don't want to be responsible for making Bentley-esque rumours up so please don't take that as gospel. It's a shame Hughes sold him last summer instead of loaning him out, I'd like to have known what Ince and his team make of him.
Fife Rover Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 and a desire to drive when drunk! Now let me guess; who could he be talking about? I know! I bet he means Pennant. So he hasn't mended his ways yet then?

Yes, another lucky guess comes off...
Paulsman Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 I know I will get shot down for asking this Nicko, but has there been any developments on Warnock today?
nicko Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 I know I will get shot down for asking this Nicko, but has there been any developments on Warnock today? Bang.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 I'm sure the Garner sell on gave us £500,000, but I can't remember where I heard that. Might have been here? I can't be bothered working out percentages, but just below 50%.
