Hughesy Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 I had a dream too, Villanueva scored a free-kick in the 88th minute, rovers winning 1-0.
Scotty Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 It would seem Everton fans aren't exactly happy with their summer so far either. Football 365 Link

cn174 Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Well its wednesday - only 10 days to go - any news on tickets? Anyone spoke to ticket office? I rung up the TO just before, and listened to the information bit. It just said 'information will be available shortly' Not so helpful
ace Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Spoke to the ticket office who are still trying to sort out the new Ticketing System..gulp..I blame the marketing manager..don't tell Frisky! Tickets for Everton MAY be available fro season ticket holders from Thursday pm..
brian_gallagher85 Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 That this Thursday? Just that I've seen on the official boards (not from Lee ) that it could be next week
OJRovers Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 They said to me this morning that it would be Thursday possibly Friday.
Hughesy Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 This is crap! Heads should roll over this - how poor is the ticketing system that it has taken this long to set up!?
philipl Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Is it our ticketing system or Everton's which is up the spout? Shouldn't the Hull tickets be going on sale now?
almuncle Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 This is crap! Heads should roll over this - how poor is the ticketing system that it has taken this long to set up!? It's not easy putting these machines back together.MrInce bought this one from e-bay from a guy in Milton Keynes but it didn't have the instructions with it. I blame that Mathius chap who went to pick it up!
BlueMG Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 They know the prices though. £30 for lower tier and £33 for upper tier in the paddock. God knows where the tickets are and who is responsible for getting them printed. I spoke to someone the other day and they were harping on about some new computer system.
brian_gallagher85 Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 It's not easy putting these machines back together.MrInce bought this one from e-bay from a guy in Milton Keynes but it didn't have the instructions with it. I blame that Mathius chap who went to pick it up! ...we should have gone with plan A
almuncle Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 ...we should have gone with plan A O.K Blue tickets for home fans... But I think we may need more than two staff on.Do you?
simdohquo Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 ...we should have gone with plan A The tickets were beign delivered from Liverpool with a load of blank passports... but no knows what happened to them... Supposedly the van driver is realted to Sparky... perhaps he is missing us already...
ace Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 See from the official site that Everton tickets are now on sale to season ticket holders..we have an allocation of 1800 tickets. Open sale from Monday next. With all the good news around they are selling like hot cakes
Hughesy Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Where did you head they were selling like hot cakes then? When did they end up going on-sale, this aft?
rebelmswar Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Never been to Goodison before but what the hell is the "Paddock"! A small field where sheep defecate.
scotchrover Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Remember going to watch Everton v newcastle at goodison a couple years back as we got free tickets of one of my dads work mate. Rovers where also away that day. The area around the ground and the ground itself is like going back to something before the 1960's. Theres plenty of dog muck on the way the way to the ground. The signs saying "no dog mess.....£50 fine"have been nicked so the council have carved parts of the floor to say "no dog mess.....£50 fine".
cn174 Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Got mine just now, didn't even have to queue for 5 minutes on the phone!
Majiball Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Never been to Goodison before but what the hell is the "Paddock"! Wear thick trousers splinters hurt. Old wooden benches all through out!
Roar of the Rover Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 1800 Allocation. Will we sell that or will it be typical Rovers with about 800 empty seats?
