RevidgeBlue Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Arry wants Robinson back at Spuds................ according to the Daily Star . Hardly surprising if he was, there's not really anyone else better about . James, Van De Saar, Friedel, Jaaskelinan getting too old. Howard, Almunier, Reina poor, Cech never the same since his injury.

dingles staying down 4ever Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Its been a couple of weeks since the end of the season and so far 'Arry wants [according to the media] Robbo Warnock Santa Cruz Because the media acclaimed king of wheelers & dealers is now at Spurs and with a bit of money available, it is an easy story for a reporter to link Spurs to anyone.
Billy Castell Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Or Tap tap Readies Redknapp is using the media in a blunderbus to unsettle a whole list of players. He's a ____.
DeadlyDirk Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Robbo will stay I think, he knows there would be a good chance he'd still play second fiddle to Gomes and that would wreck his career which is just getting started again, surely he's not that stupid. Sod off Spuds!
Billy Castell Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I can't see him going back, as he had a rough time the last season or so he was there. Let's sell him for £25m and sign Joe Hart!
hi-jaq Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Harry is a TW*T!!! He has never said a good thing about Rovers & now if these stories are to be believed is trying to dismantle our squad by declaring intrest in some of our most key players. I just dont like the guy, never have. not only is he a proper Cockerney, but he's ugly as sin!!! Never forget when we sent Southampton down a few years back, he was at the touchline looking like a reet tool, wishing he never left Pompey!!! KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OUR ROVERS ARRY, Robbos just got back in the England squad and will prove his worth this weekend, let him enjoy his career, if he goes back to Spuds, that will be it for him I think!!!

Bit harsh on a guy who promised Rovers that he will try his best to stop United from winning, so we could win the title. Then again, i'm not too sure if you remember that far back
nicko Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Robinson is not going anywhere. Move on - there's nothing happening here.
Amo Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 There's actually been rumours that Harry is sniffing for a return to Pompey, after their takeover.
hi-jaq Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Bit harsh on a guy who promised Rovers that he will try his best to stop United from winning, so we could win the title. Then again, i'm not too sure if you remember that far back I do (Vaguely!!!)... but still... dont like him... There's a number of reasons, perhaps the only reason to like him is the one you mention, but still... dont like him!!! He's just one of those people that no matter how hard I try, I couldnt talk to him, without giving into the overwhelming urge to punch him (and I'm about as violent as candy floss!!!)
thenodrog Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Robinson is not going anywhere. Move on - there's nothing happening here. Deja vu? You said that about Brad.
nicko Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Deja vu? You said that about Brad. And I also told you when that picture changed...and it wasn't Man City he ended up. Major difference here. The manager is now a Robinson fan. He wasn't for a while but has been won over. Ince was not a fan of Brad's - whatever the spin doctors might say.
Billy Castell Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Which just shows what a twonk Ince is. Brad has come across as a polite, professional chap whilst the more you hear about Ince, the more you think he's an arrogant, lapsidaisical, lazy tool.
Blueheart Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Whats all the fuss about ? Believe me we have an excellant keeper in Bunn if Robinson leave. If we can a profit on the deal then fine by me !
gazsimm Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Whats all the fuss about ? Believe me we have an excellant keeper in Bunn if Robinson leave. If we can a profit on the deal then fine by me ! losing Robinson will be a blow thats why, Bunn might be a good keeper but he has not proven it yet and Robinson's form of late as been very good (hence the england call up)
OscarRaven Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 losing Robinson will be a blow thats why, Bunn might be a good keeper but he has not proven it yet and Robinson's form of late as been very good (hence the england call up) nothing to do with injuries then?
dazmaz Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 nothing to do with injuries then? hes right, robbo is only being called up due to injurys. BUT Bunn hasnt proven himself yet, he looked shakey when hes played. Robbo is a proven world class shot stopper, i think he will stay unless hes told he wont get to wear the #1 england shirt while hes with us, reason i say this is because we have been behind him since day one, why go where your not wanted??
gazsimm Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 nothing to do with injuries then? If James was fit, i still think Robinson would be the squad ahead of Carnson. He might not be best English keeper we have got, but i think he is at least the 3rd best english keeper that england can pick on!
Hughesy Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Injuries have helped, but I too still think he would of got a call this time anyway. Capello seems to be keen to allow those on form a chance, therefore Robbo should be called up - injuries or not!!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 Green is having another howler, lucky not to be 1-0 after after he missed the ball. Can only be good for Robbo.
donis1410 Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 I think Cappello has got to give Robbo a chance against Andorra!!!
67splitscreen Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Sheringham & Earle must have been watching a different game after there comments on Green last night. Mr consistency, your having a laugh. Mr indecisive IMO.
donis1410 Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 I expect better from Teddy but I come to expect inaccuracies from mr Earle
tcj_jones Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 I cannot see Spurs wanting Robbo back. They've got two big name goalkeepers on their books already, one of which they've only just brought in and who, I'd imagine, probably expected to walk into the starting XI and who I'd also imagine isn't best pleased at sitting on the bench.
patrickvalery Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 The more i think about the signing of Robbo the more i think it was a masterstroke. We all know what a loss friedel was, but the longer Robinson is here the more i like him. Never has a negative word to say about the place. Never was there a sense that he felt he'd made the wrong choice in coming. Even when we lingered in the bottom 3. His form has got progressively better and the passion he has shown for the club and its fans is to be applauded. With Tugay gone i'm hoping in Robbo we've found another 'club man'. Cannot speak highly enough of him at the moment and its fantastic to have a big name at the club, known around the world (to a degree) who isn't slagging the club off and engineering a move. My tip for next season's player of the year and with it a chance to reclaim the gloves for England. If he leaves now i'm gonna look exceptionally stupid.
