Im glad Robbo isnt going....at least the media wont be able to blame him when England fail AGAIN!

Don't be too hard on your team. I'm sure that they'll enjoy an honorable loss to the U.S.A. B)

It's not us I worry abour Smoss, it's all the South East of England that think we have a right to the trophy, when technically, we are in a lower division than that of the true favourites.

Capello is a great manager and we'll do okay, however, we clearly don't have enough "World class" players and those that aren't of that standard are too far away from it for me.

We'll see.

On topic, I'm glad Robinson isn't going, the others will fail and their stock will fall, also, if he went, he'd do very well, and as a result he'd then be playing in the champions league next season (i.e. And not us)

Okay, apologies Robbo, yes I'm selfish, but then it's club before country for me. (End of)

At least he should be their number 3. I never understood Capello's vendetta against him.

Made a scapegoat for the previous management I think.

Plus you cant compare his "mistake" against Croatia, which was caused by a blatant ditch on the pitch to that of Carson or Green, who virtually handed things to the opposition on their own.

I did read somewhere a while ago the grief is with Clemence him and Robbo don't get on.

Green is a disgrace, he should be shot, hung, drawn and quartered. A keeper at lolwly west ham should not be in goal for England. Letting a passback fly in is tantamount to treason.

I wonder if Robbo had a sly smirk this evening whilst enjoying his holiday, he could be forgiven for it as his blunder whilst more comical was for more understandable than tonights debacle

If it was a passback, why did he try to collect it? (not being snide, honest question.)

It wasn't a back pass but a rather simple shot from perhaps 30 yards out.

This makes a lot of sense as it cannot be for football reasons alone that Robbo doesn't even make the 30.

You know your right there i mean Paul Robbinson would never do that would he i mean remember that England keeper who let in that goal against Croatia few years ago after Gary Neville back pass and he air-kicked it to know where? what was that keepers name again? lmao

You cant blame him for a bobble though...whereas this was just very poor technique.

Robbo may have his faults when it comes to crosses, but i would have a damn sight more confidence in him than i do in the other three.

Like people have said above, must be for none footballing reasons that he isn't there.....and its come back to bite them in the arse.

Might not be, the Englang manager might just not rate him at the moment i know i didn't when he first signed for us, but he got better last season and i think he'll be picked after the world cup.

Perhaps better to direct that vitriol to the manager. He picked him, after all.

People have short memories. Robinson's made a hash of some rather tame shots this season. I'd play Hart, in all honesty, because unlike Green, James and Robinson he hasn't got a history of bloopers.

Robinsons an average quality club keeper and not England class. To play him there might lead to a set back. I'm sure WHU supporters are wondering how his mistake will affect his confidence. Prem league matches next season will be hell for him. Visiting fans will try to put him off and even worse home supporters will go quiet when he's called into action. Rem how quiet Ewood went when a high cross went in toward John Butcher?

As for Green that was an accident waithing to happen cos he rarely exhudes confidence and always looks scared stiff.

Hart looked OK last season until I sam him live at ewood and he was poor and certainly less than inspiring.

Calamity James unfortunately is still Englands No1.

WHU supporters presumably know what the Opta stats show- Green is on his own as the player who made the most goal-conceding bloopers in the Premier League last season!

He has form for what happened yesterday.

That goal against Croatia was not Robinson`s fault and this video shows it.

Robbo's goal against Croatia was no more his fault than Flowers against Liverpool.

I'd like to see Hart given the nod now as James has earnt his nickname.

James has to play if he's fit.

Don't know if you saw Hart at Ewood Maj, but he's a flapper on crosses. He was all over the place whenever rovers put him under pressure.
